  1. lol thats allmost the same kinda leakdown tester im makeing. you will have the excuse my spell ing im alittle drunk. well alot drink accualy. heres a pic of my valve and gauage. im going to turn my compresser down and just shut the valve ff when it gets to 10psi.

  3. put the oil in the tank first then fill it up with the correct amount of gas. if that dopesnt mix it up i dont know what does. and i would have to dissage with the above statment. when your rideing your gass is sloshing around in your tank non stop. it would do a 10x better job of mixing the gas then a jerry can ever could. that is is if not right to the brim full. there has to bea some room for it to move around.
  4. my buddy carrys some oil and a pastic measureing cup. when you fill up say you up in 6 litters then you figure out how much oil you need for 6 liters at a 32 or 34:1 ratio. or whatver ratio he uses then pour that about in the cup and dump it in.shake the bike around alittle and your done.

  6. yeah running it dry isnt all that good. the oil in the gas it the pistons and clyinders only lube. if your just putting through the trail and it starts to bogits not good but i probably wornt hurt it much. if its done alot then yeah im sure there could be problems.i would be more worried about running out going wide open down a strip or on the road.

  8. ok guys im looking for some info, i made a leakdown tester useing the how to guide RNBrad had on here awhile ago and i just can find anything to use as plugs to plug my intake and exhaust. has anyone tried anything else out there to plug there port off that's air tight? post some pics give me some wacky ideas. i have spent about 3 hours grooming the hardware stores around here looking for something but just can find the perfect piece. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...5&hl=rnbrad

  11. whats wrong with the stock one.? i would only get it if you got some bigger and your jugs are ported or something and you think your bowls are running dry. but hey if you wanne spend the money on it just to have it go for it lol one more think to add to the list.
  12. keep the cable off then get some vice grips and turn the clutch leaver down on the motor so it lines up. then screw your adjusting screw in until it gets snug then tighten the locknut and hold the screw at the same time so it doesnt move. then hook up the cable. are trying to line the arrows up with the cable attached and pulling the clutch lever. oh yeah and when i say adjusting screw and lock nut i mean the one on your clutch on the one on the leaver thats on the handle bars. sorry its hard for me to explain things on here. pm me if you still dont understand
  13. if you had stock pipes before dont run the bike and jet it. if you just switched pipes and you had some aftermarket before then chances are the jetting is a little off. i would go to the fmf site figure out what jetting to use and do it either way. your taking a major risk right now and its probably not going to turn out good. you can also tell use what kinda mods you have and your elevation and someone should be able to get you straight on jetting
  14. ok im not quit following you but i will try this again. when you put the plate on there should -10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1,0+1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 so when your adjusting it you line whatever # you want to set it at you line it up with the case halfs when they come together so turn the plate till the +5 lines up with the line that the case halfs makes then tighten it down.
  15. +4 or +5 i guess if you have a cub they like timing but for stock, ported cylinders iv always seen people run +4/5
  16. whatever color you decid on get it in powder coat very good stuff. will hold up 100X better then paint. and proably better then the stock paint aswell. oh yeah CUT THEM FENDERS IT LOOKS SICK I LOVE IT
  17. to my knowledge the just stuck on there screw the main in and then put that plastic piece back over. im pretty sure they just say there because my carbs are the same way and have been like that for a year now. just tore them down the other day and those plastic piece where still there.
  18. if your crank is good and its welded then your good to go up to say 180 psi could be more i have no idea. but if you want to run pump gas and have no porting stay with a 21cc dome. the guy that is running the 19cc could be ported that will lower compression abit. he could be at a higher elevation. that will lower it. there are many factors he could even have a lose motor. its not the dame size you need to look at its your elevation above see level and compression. if your running pump 93 octane 145/150 would be safe so figure out your elevation then go to that site nossmachine and go to banshee heads then look for your elevation and shoot for 150psi and it should match you up with your correct dome size. also as said in the above post spend 30 or 40$ and get an adjustable timing plate set to to +4/+5 and you may notice another low end gain along with the higher compression
  19. can someone dig up the stock clutch specs in there clymers. i need to know the measurements for the fibers and the steels whats the minimum thickness before i put the bottom end back together. i just gave my buddy back his clymers and forgot to get the specs
  20. Flotek ported my buddies cylinders havent seen them run yet but has and amazing turn around time.

  22. hey iv been to silver lake the past couple years and i know you have to have a flag but does the top have to be orange. my looks like it been through the war so i was kinda hoping to get a replacement but don't want to buy something i cant get in the park with. anyone know the rule there i looked on there site but couldn't find it or read over it maybe.

  24. get a noss head they are kick ass. and he sposers the site. they use the same domes as pro design heads aswell as the same o rings but dont requier longer head studs you can use your stock one. pm DL NOSS on here or go to his website and pick out what you want. if you want to run a premium pump gas go with the 21cc domes. http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm
