  1. depending on what pipes you get most of then will not melt the plastics from what if seen but then again they all not fit exactly the same. i used a dremil with a little metal saw blade on it. kinda melted them but then i took a file and then some fine sand paper and just touched up the edges . you could use a torch and remelt them to a smoth edge but one wrong move and you might be cutting yur fenders off sooner then you think. do a seach on here there are tons and tons of treads about it. try race cut fenders cutting fenders should bring up lots of tricks and tops.
  2. im not 100% sure on why you need to hold the throttle but its just something you have to do lol. turn your gass of and i take both plugs out. makes it easyer to kick over. btw kick until your guage doesnt move any higher.
  3. alrigty i will start a new topic in the rideing events when it gts alittle closer or whatever and we can post some pics and all talk about meeting up somewhere. sorry for hijacking. thanks fouled
  4. wicked well here a deal how about we all take some pics of our bikes before we go then i should be able to reconize some of them i would fell like a dumb ass being like her you from the hq or ps. mayb im just shy. oh yeah and there any drags at the dragway that weekend. last year i was there the day before the east VS west drags but had to start eading back home and coulndt accualy stay around for the drags. kinda sucked. ok next question would the drags be better in the dunes or aat the drag way this weekend. the first year i went was amazing at the dunes but it was also july 4
  5. ok so i see memorial day is may 26 that would be a monday makeing this a long weekend. so this would be a good time frame to go?

  8. lol love that place hi it up every time we go to silver lake. i havent needed 110 yet but maybe this year lol
  9. homeade kinda like chrome aluminum expanded sheet aluminum
  10. you dont have to do anything funny with engine ice. dont mix it just pour it in. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...339#prodDetails
  11. i dont agree with everythin they say but. K&N's with out outerwares do let in alittle dirt. foam filers is always the way to go i think.
  12. very comon take the shock out grease the bushings and while you are at it grease the shock linkage bushing.
  13. thats what i ment. i didnt see the need to cut the oring but. either way would work you just need 2 more gaskets.
  14. every plug i have ever put in my bike has been very close to the right gap. i would judt run it and get a gapper later
  15. ill give ya 25$ lol JK sorry man i had to. anyway good luck
  16. oh yeah i turned my rim around one but didnt do the mod and only got about 2 mins away from home when i had two flat tires lol. i though the valve stems cleared the brake caliper but it didnt and when the tire when around it keep hitting it and eventually shock the inner valve thing lose. all i had to do was tightin it back up again but you cant flip your front rims with some wheel spacers or this mod.. might also be able to get away with some very stubby valve stems
  17. you mean the front rims? if so i made a pic awhile ago for somene i was trying to explain it to. i have never done this by the way i just read about it. you need to take your tire off. get 2 new valve stems per wheel. ok so take the tire off. and take the original valve stem out and install the new one in backwards. so the fill end would be inside the tire. then drill a new hole for your new valve stem on the other side of the rim. (the new outside or the rim) and then install your other valve stem in the normal way so you can fill your tire back up. this will give you acouple more inches of wide up front. probably not worth it but i guess people do it. there are other options like a arms and aftermarket rims that have more of an offset.
  18. try running it with your grill out it look crazy restrictive
  19. engine ice is just coolent i run it but not sure of the temp difference becasue i dont have a guage. if you have overheated the thing i would definatly make sure your plastic stock impeller isnt melted. the rads most people get are PWR rads. i dont think thats your problem though i would get an impeller and run some engine ice make sure your jetting is good and your set. if you get a bigger rad but your impeller is @#$%ed its just going to do the same thing because its not going to move the coolent. save yourself. 300$ and do alittle detective work. theres lots of guys on hear that swear the stock rad is more then big enough on a properly running bike in the hottest of weather.
  20. put in new plugs they are cheap and you can eleminate that as a problem lot of the timesay your mixing to rich you coud have just fouled a plug. this will make a funny shooting air/ backfireing noise.. try new plugs if this helps but deao it again after a couple rides then check your carbs for sync and jetting
  21. i have no idea what you are talking about but there the oring im talking about. not on the reend cage its on the intake boot that mounts to the cage and cylinder. what are you talking about cutting? what reeds are you running?
  22. lol just for an example me and a couple of my friends just order some stuff from RMATV. . we got 2 case savers. T.M. design. 1 pair of grips, big bar camps, some Gforce wheel hubs. i cant remeber what shipping was but i know just to go to the post offic to pick it up was 50$ thats just criminal like when you pay for shipping you shouldnt have to pay to pick ip up. also last year i got my parts back from fast racing. cost 130$ for shipping that was express like 4 days with insurance on it. but then it was like 70 or 80 to pick it up at the post office lol. not fun at all. there need to be a decent store in canada and some decent builders. they would make a fortune.
  23. you must mean aftermarket cages?. i can see you cuting out the two parts that stick up but not the accually ring? but if thats what it calls for then yeah you probably need 4 gaskets
  24. the gasket goes on the cylinder side then the reed cages go in and then the intake boots have a rubber o ring around them and they seal the other side of the reed cage
  25. www.rockymountainatv.com www.magicracing.com you like and canada like me so you cant go online and buy from rockymountin. you have to call in the order. when you do that you can ask them for there catologe its like 850 pages. wicked book. the only shippy thing about ordering from the USA is that when it comes you have to pay the post office a retarted amount of money to get your stuff. this cost is for customs. so some stuff is better to buy in canada and pay the higher price. but others are so cheap it still works out cheaper after customs
