  1. Ill take off the gas tank and try it again w/o the adaptor. that extra 1.5cc may have dropped it a bit.
  2. sure. in bearings too. If you pump it long enough eventually it will reach the bushings anyways.
  3. noss heads use o rings and are cheap to replace.

  5. Im not possititve,. but pretty sure ones for stock carb sizes only work on 26&28mm carbs. Did you ask the seller?
  6. Once upon a time I bought a timing plate then a puller to get the flywheel off. I stripped the puller ruined the stator and flywheel. Long story. Anyways I ordered a new puller, flywheel, and stator. Before I got them I fixed the puller threads with a dremel and got the old Flywheel off. The stator I ordered came with a timing plate. So I have an extra plate and puller still in package. Ill ship em both together for $40. Paypal welcome.
  7. Im not sure exactly 50:1 is 12.8 so Id guess about 15-16oz.
  8. find the side with the smallest bell,. flatten it of course,. then stick a tire iron or screwdriver and stick it in under the bead and break it all the way around,. then take a large screwdriver and stick it in about 6 inches from the other one the put a crow foot in the center of the 2 and pull out while you circle the screwdriver around.
  9. on premium fuel. Ive got the same setup. Do a plug chop to jet. Im at sea level 75-85 dergrees T5`s 21 cc domes .030 over k&n no lid vf3`s and +4. my mains are 320 center clip and stock pilots 2.5 turns out.
  10. Pipe cutting/threading oil should work. a 400 grit stone or slightly smaller is good crosshatch scratch for beakin in new rings. Keep the oil on it heavy though. Have some one squirt it on while you drill save it in a pan with a magnet filter it and re use it.
  11. I just measured the space and it holds 1.5 cc in the adaptor.
  12. that mix might make some heavy smoke. did you chop the threads on the plug or just look at the top? do a search on plug chops for info and pictures. is you bike still stock? whats you temp n elevation?
  13. are you asking an opinion? or how many ounces? 32:1 would be 20oz. to 5 gallons. its not to smokey and keeps the bottom end lubed. Ive never used that oil though.
  14. there was an adaptor piece that went on the end of the tester hose that went in as deep as the spark plug,. so that litlle extra space in that adaptor may have added some area to the compression area?
  15. Yeah,. I plan on getting ported in about 3 months by Tony doukas racing once they move over to the west coast. Check with noss onthe toque specs. I think it was incriments of 5 ft/lbs up to 20. like 5-10-15-20 in sequence with the numbers cast into the stock head.
  16. just dont tighten the threads tight on the cast ones,... just use thread locker.

  19. I used to live in plantation near broward n nob hill. I live off 84 n 4th ave area now. I ride out in the holy lands and over in Bonita springs (ff the end of east terry). Im goin out to holy this weekend I think,.... (If I get a stator) There was an MX track near the airport I was riding in alot but they closed it off so no one could sneak in.

  21. for some reason those toomey kits unopened sell for like 55 - 60 dollars.

  25. I started mine at 300 w/o the k&n and it ran ok,. the with my noss head and k&n at the same time it barelly ran. Im at 320main center clip pos. 25 pilot 2.5 turns out, probley as close to perfect as I can get. with T5`s of course. Im at sea level 70-85 degrees. Sell the toomey jet kit on ebay for 40 bucks or so if you do need bigger :cool:
