there is the possibility I installed it wrong, but I need to see how it goes on. I must have becuase I only rode it for 10 minutes and gave it a hard right then left at about 50mph and then bang! broken case! Help please. wanna ride more! this thing is f`n fast!!!!

mine just came apart while I was riding and gave me my first chain break. yeah fucking thrilled! they arent cheap for no reason. anyways I took it all apart and cant figure out how to put it back together anyone have some decent pictures. yea circlips on an axle,... thats going to last.

Trying to figure out exactly how to adjust the PV cables from the servo to the PV shaft. I have the manual, but it doesnt really explain what Im supposed to do. Not sure how to test if its right.

I think I figured it out. My oil bolt may be so long its going up and hitting up against something. I replaced it today and got one but need to cut it down. Everything is working fine with that out. Im not even getting sticky clutch jump without oil in it. Tires sat still till I let off. Perfect. Im happy now. :happy:

Nah, its not the clutch at all. The shift shaft springs are good because the shift lever returns from either up or down. I know the plates can stick and make it jerk an stall or jump, but it just doesnt go into gear at all not 1st or second. BUt when I took it out the first time it worked fine. And the second time it didnt, but I took the cover off and everything worked again turning the tires, then all together,... nothing. I think somehow its not moving the star, but I dont understand why it would then not then would then not.

I just went to go ride my freshly built machine, except, when I got it started and went to kick it into gear it wouldnt click up or down. So pushing it in very angry I took the clutch cover off with it off the ground and went to see what the problem was, I turned the tires and shifted it through all the gears with no problem, so I put it all back together fluds and all got it back out in the yard, sma ething no shift!!!! :mad: :: Yesterday I took a slow troll up and down the road and it shifted great!! PISSED!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know what could cause this? This is the first Ive come across a problem like this.

Anyone ever use yamabond or anything instead of paying $13 for a new gasket everytime you take the clutch cover off?

when stuff like that gives me a hard time, I get out the angle grinder and get new parts. Usually I have a few master link sets around anyways.

Ive aways been under the impression that you could run 93 up to around 10.5:1 cr which is abouts 160psi safely. 178psi is around 11.5:1 and should be run about a 100.

I ran mine on 93 @32 above sea level 21cc domes and +5 timing and 150-157psi just fine, but that is about the safest limit.

the rear bolt pattern is 115 the front is 156.

If you have common sence and tools, ox/acetelene, welder, of course it can work. With those just about anything can be made to work. Im thinkin Im about to begin a quadruple powervalve RZ500 project. I dont care if it fits now, or to ask anyone. I will make it fit/work. Id try to use the original bike frame and convert it to a quad frame if I had too.

I have a stock crank that is out of tollerance with good rods/bearings if you want it. Just pay shipping. I kept it for thses parts, but both my motors have +4 hotrods in em, so the stockers are of no use. PM me if interested. I dont know how to take it appart. :shrug: If anyone knows a general price to ship one, feel free to chime in lol. Im guessing maybe 25-30 dollars?

Need to sell my toomey pipes, the expansion chamber hits the PV on my RZ cylinders and wont fit. going to have to get some PTs before I can run it. $325 shipped.
