  1. yea, that was at one of the races back in feb. at big cypress. I was in heat 12 every race and it sucked after being rutted up after all the bikes. Its rough on a stock suspension. Im going to be heading back there soon. The track doesnt look so bad just looking at it and walking it, but it kicks your ass! I havent been riding as much the past month, and need to get the arms in shape for that pump. I run on a twist throttle too. :ermm:

  3. which one,.... where?
  4. thanks. Im going to get a duncan chrome bumper that resembles the ims intimidators. IMS doesnt make em for banshee anymore. The a`s are asr +3+1 which I had modified for proper squat and will prob be selling them for some burgard +4+1`s soon.
  5. min is completely set up for mx and it is still rough to ride, much much better than a stock or near stock setup , but still rougher than some stock suspension 450s Ive been on. Except mine is wider and turns harder. Here is a pic at the track on a stock susp except the +2 a`s.... It was EXTREMELY hard to ride, and this was with +2 a arms. Offset wheels on stock a arms and shocks is really going to suck! Here is my current setup.....
  6. i had gotten a parts bike that was labeled 420 and the cyls looked stock but different,.... but were stock. It had a +4 crank in it but the cyls where sleeved over 68mm with a head milled and cut for bore and stroke. weither or not it was 420 I dont know and dont care,. but it could have been.
  7. Ill tell ya right now that bike above isnt making near 97 hp, not even 77hp. I think pyramid reeds are made by duncan racing, and dont know if they are still made or replacement pedals are available. Havent seen much of either one lately.
  8. my tether is notmally open bc when you make a close it grounds to kill the motor. If you leave the kill switch closed through your tether, it will never start. some are different though. check it with a conteneuity tester. I used the stock kill switch wire though. if it is n/c, go the orange wire route.
  9. I think he is trying to say use that wire on whatever new device you are using instead of cutting your coil wire and adding more resistance and ugly to the harness  But, yea, itll work as long as whatever switch you are using is normally closed rather than open.
  10. Jose doesnt give a flying fuck what anyone thinks, he tells it how it is. Plain and simple.
  11. did they assemble the motor or did you? Shoulda taken photos of everything. They could go back and chamfer those cyls over night and say you assembled it wrong or some BS. That really looks like a hung up ring to me. To be safe, checking clearance is good insurance, but the morons who built it should have your set of pistons there with rings to insure that the bore and hone they provide are to spec to match the pistons specs. The thing that sucks is now they can tamper with them to elude fault. There is no reason they need to keep them there for any inspection without you. Id check very carefully for new machine grinding marks around the ports.
  12. I deleted my myspace.
  13. you should have memorial day off at least?
  14. your riding mx w/o nerfs?
  15. thats a good start. where ever we go this time Im bringing my spare quad.
  16. Not enough people riding around here lately, lets do something,... Camp out a weekend somewheres.
  17. that was the first one I owned back in 96 till about 01-02 it got stolen.
  18. I had an experience once (happened to be a ricky stator) where I guess my woodruff key went with the taper and it took a very stong hydrolic press to get it off. And even then it barelly came off. Most of the pullers are pos china metal that strip easily too. Make sure its in as far as it can go before pulling grease it clean it back it in and out ect.. I buy those in 2`s.
  19. thats what I sorta gathered. the manual was reading to hit a main switch to test and all this other stuff and I got lost. So it sits in the "pinned" position off, but when I turn it on, it rotates clockwise about a half inch, does that sound about right? When I turn it back off, it returns right in alignment with that pin hole. An RZ head will not mount to yfz 350 cylinders. I have no idea what the advantage of that could even possibly be. Having the cylinders are pretty sweet though, I most definatly am not regreting the swap.
  20. yeppers It runs well, I need new exaust couplings and a size or 2 up on my mains and itll be hot. Its a night and day difference from the previous setup for sure.
  21. That looks like what Ive got. Thanks a bunch for the pictures.
  22. Heres one of mine with a bunch of missing parts lol......
  23. thanks. I think I got it. I just took it out for a ride and didnt have any problems. Ill be posting a terrible vid in a few minutes my 8 year old took mostly of the ground lol.
  24. I think I figured it out, on the brake side I have the collar over the snap ring on the sprocket side I put the blunt end of the locknut toward the sprocket with the threaded part recess facing out inside screwed it all the way in, put the snap ring on, and then turned the nut till the threaded part completely covered the snap ring and nut would not turn and then tightened the allen set screw. Imma take I ride again when I get back from the gym and see if it happens again.
  25. I seen on another website some pictures,. the guy had one on a yfz450 and the locknut was on the brake hub side. The only way I can figure this thing to work leaves a gap where the axle can slide left and right. I need some pictures of one assembled to make sure Im doing it right. I put it on the way the instructions showed when I got it, but threw them away.
