  2. aw common man, I know you wanna make a trip down to sunny sw florida
  3. cheetah? I would think a 2-1 would be longer anyways?
  4. So I dont have to re enter all the info and pics, click here....... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry869535 $4500
  5. I need some money. I can always build another one even though I dont want to. I would like a street bike or a 450 pref yfz +$1000. mods or not. Here are a couple of things it has..... -passion racing 12 port rz powervalve cylinders -milled high compression head clearanced for stroke -hot rods trued&welded +4mm stroker crank -wiseco forged pistons (combined with stroke puts it at 385cc`s) -vortex billet clutch and f.a.s.t. plates -28mm mikuni flatslide carbs -boyeseen dual stage carbon fiber pro reeds. -k&n filter -lightened flywheel -rz shift forks and drum for better shifting under load -+3+1 a arms -elka piggy back rez shocks (still have box and papers like brand new) -stainless braided brake lines - negative 2" swingarm for better handling geometry -HiPer beadlock rims on the rear - +4" chrome axle -asv clutch lever -rocket racing pipes -properly jetted with extras for weather/alt changes. -PD billet impeller. -AC progegs. Tag bumper in a couple weeks pc flat black. with pods, 30-32mm carbs, and advanced timing this motor will prob push near 80rwhp. need new front tires another seat is avail with black/blk wht checker gripper cover. this is not a 420 motor. Shannon
  6. Id like to just stick to GM as far as HP goes myself. Heres a retired 80 ta 454 I had....
  7. those are breather hoses from the cases, you might be filling up with water. the water will sit below the oil so you wont see water come out. The poor running may be from clutch slippage from water, poor lube, and hot motor. Just a guess  Dump the oil and see if theres water in it or if the oil has any white creamy look to it. If so you prob need some new o rings on the clutch cover or an impeller seal.
  8. Im going to get it either way and just sell or trade it for chevy parts if I dont stick it in the stang. My harness will work and I get the truck harness and might have to just make a few splices, and I guess a few other things that have to do with the alarm, and cam phasing or somethin. Im not going to do anything until I know it all and know I can do it in a weekend.
  9. Ive flattracked mine a couple times, but there arent any tracks near here that I know about, so I just race friends in the woods on courses we make and some mx at big cypress
  10. Id buy that bitch bone stock for $1200.
  11. Ive never used one of those. I just use my eyes and some common sence. If you have the box off or pods off you can see with the smallest touch of throttle if they left in sync or not. And use a feeler to make sure the idle screws even too, before lift sync.
  12. yea measure the small end that faces the cylinders from the inside with calipers or a small bore guage, then do an inch to mm conversion if needed. a stock banshee mikuni carb is 26mm.
  13. there are 2 things I really cant stand, wheel spacers and rear axle bumpers! well 3,... eyeball headlight covers. but wheel spacers are GAY!!! My front end is 52" wide and I have no spacers.
  14. Im with nyuk, i dont even bother. I give them away locally or for next to nothing. Unless they are brand new and someone is willing to pay that, I dont even consider shipping em.
  15. I think that was sarcasm, its possible he just dealt with the same thing? Anyways, yes there is. Google search a psi to compression ration chart, then search your compression ratio to octain. with oil Id say 9.5-10:1 is the best for 93. IMO. There have been previous posts on here and I know I have posted this info before too. Or abouts 155-160psi on 93. This is a safe baseline. timing advance and other variables apply too. The chart you find will most likely be for straight gas w/o oil, but with oil, I like to be safer with a less efficient hotter burn. If you run a cool head with engine ice and have a good tad rich jetting, its safer to run lower octain than say someone who is running a hot motor reving all the time with a stock head, std antifreeze and timing advanced 7 degrees yadda yadda. Just my .02
  16. I dont have any gaskets for them. They dont have any cracks, I wouldnt sell them with cracks. I buy these gaskets 5 pairs at a time from my local shop for cheap, but I dont have any left.
  17. I have a used pair of vf2`s that still have life left. I bought them for an extra cos they are a rare find, but Im most likely sellin my quad. $75 shipped. Pictures up soon. Im takin money orders for now until I get my pay pal updated. They want me to verify through a home phone line,... I dont have one of those.

  19. Im actually about to buy a new bumper and pair of front tires for it too lol. If I had the time and money, Id finish the plastics to black base with yellow and red airbrushed accents like I was goin too.
  20. I just rode it yesterday. Im not going to stop just because I have it listed. I doubt anyone wil buy it anyways. I wont sell it for lower than its listed. I mentioned on here almost a month ago I was going to try and sell it, but Im not going to give it away or part it out.
  21. thats right exactly where I go riding at most bro. not right off alabama, but right near it. I ride there from my house along side 82 though all those trails, across alabama through a small part of woods, through some houses, across grant and out into the now flooded woods. if you look on that map for blackstone, right across the street in all that empty area is where I go out to here.
  22. Ok, I figured it out. I can. But a supercharger will need clearance under the hood. I can use a std 5.4L 3v and get the swap intake or use a 4.6 intake with adaptor plates and not have to add any clearance. the std 330 5.4 produces 300rwhp on an extended cab f-150 with 365ft-lbs of torque bone stock, so in a convertable mustang I can imagine adding some round about of +50 to both which would be good streetable power. The mounts are the same, the 4.6 harness is plug n play. Just a tune up is needed for the extra cubes utilizing the existing 4.6 computer and harness. with a good set of headers, intake/throttle body, underdrive pullies, chip, ect all the cheap bolt ons adding up to about $1000, should put me up another 40 or so, and with cams/porting,.... would all be 1/2 the price of putting a blower on. Not to mention shorter mustang tires, gears, and rear end. Plus all the accessories are the same, brackets and all. the engines are pretty much identical, with some 4.6 valve covers and having the 4.6 intake on, thats a sleeper. Should pull some big numbers w/o any boost. Also maybe worthy of mentioning I just got an 88 camaro RS project strip only car Im going to back half and all with a healthy 385 4 bolt for a 300ex I was selling. I told myself next car was going to be a small block bc the 2 454`s I had took me 2 years to build. Cost alot!! They are so much cheaper and lighter. I might try and trade this 350 block for a 400,. then stroke/punch it to a mid 400cid. I know world products has a small block 454. I love a big bbc though.
  23. Ive had mixed. good and bad.
  24. from what I gather they are the same width at frame/wheel housing level but 6"+ taller and that is an outragous cowl for a daily driver lol. Im still researching it and asking all over. I dont know if its worth all the work, but its cheaper than $3000 for a supercharger.
  25. I have an 02 GT convertable with the 4.6 in it and I have the chance to get a 5.4L supercharged for $750 out of a truck with harness and all. Question is,.... can these swap? If I have to go through extremes Im not going to do it, but if the tranny bolts right up and the motor mounts match up I will. Any input would be great.
