  1. thats no good!!! I don't like people doing stuff to animals and they can't defend themselfs. Would like to get a African Lion in between them!!
  2. What do you mean?
  3. Its really easy to make yourself or any one with a lathe or so would be able to make them for you.
  4. It is difficult to explain in english. Your second gear has a problem yeah, the gears does not mesh nice into each other, maybe there is a washer missing between some gears (not sure if there's a washer between 2nd gear) or the shoulders on the side of the gear were the 2 gears syncronise into each other are rounded or wear so they will slip. My tecnical side of explaining in in english is not very good, sorry.
  5. get rid of the boost bottle.... lol Thats a weird thing yeah, but if you replaced all the electrics then i think there is a connector or loose wire somewhere...
  6. I am starting to think, if you don't have any air leaks, jetting is ok, reeds is ok, than maybe there is a passage block in the carbs. have you put the carbs under some compressed air? Something else... Does the bike Idle? Say the bike idles and you rev it, does it rev easy? Does it looses revs easy or is it loosing revs very slow and revs by its self when you take your thumb of the throttle, if you rev it freely while not riding it?
  7. You can cut them off where they go into the tors cap or just leave them like that or isolate them with tape.
  8. agree, stay stock. Save the money and get some V Force 3 reeds, K&N filter and cool head with the right domes for your needs. If the motor needs rebuilding, port it and then you can look into some new carbs.
  9. Do you run stock carbs?
  10. If your stock one is still in good shape, you don't need to buy a new one, just get the stocker trued and welded.
  11. yeah man, that sucks. It will run like that, but replace them or sort it out with the seller.
  12. :yelrotflmao:
  13. just open your carbs and clean them out.
  14. Ok, looks like you've tried everything on the jetting, now an od question, Are your reed petals sealing? Do you have stock reed valves? If you have stock reeds, do you use the metal reed stoppers on them? Maybe one of the reed plates have come loose? Check you reed valves.
  15. With what size hammer did you slammed your hood.....? :yelrotflmao: May be your hood touched the cap, does the cap sits any higher?
  16. ....did I say something wrong?? I said go on and try it out, do a search on the site of all the DIY porting and you will see, I always said DO IT YOURSELF IF YOU CAN!!
  17. to me... a GOOD CLEAN port job is an ART!!!! I do not say you cannot do it yourself or learn to do it, I am sure a lot of us can master the art of porting and be an artist..... and I am SURE that most of us can not master it, thats why there are just a few big names if it comes to porting..and not everyone and their bro can port... Practice makes perfect and it costs $$$$$ if you fail. BUT I agree, try it out if you want to.
  18. 27 South Africa!!!
  19. Here is one in my sig. IMS, I do like the Clarke tanks more, I do XC, this tank will not turn yellowish after some years, I had one on for 5 years. This is a new one on my banshee, its so nice to see where my fuel marks are, I marked it, 5L and 10L it can hold 22litres of fuel, I love the look as well, some hate it I know. I do like the differant colour with the blue also.
  20. When did you do the transaction? i found that some e-bayers are a bit on the slow side. Good Luck
  21. Heavy tires is a killer, I run maxxis, razr 4 ply, never had i puncture on trails and XC with my set this year. Some holeshots are light and dunlop make pretty light tires, but they are 2 ply (some are 4)
  22. On a banshee the upper and lower arms are not in line, the ball joints will off course be on a castor/camber angle in line... I have HD arms and when I got my elkas.......they rubbed against the spring, the shocks and springs where much thicker. The dealer screwed me with the a-arms and said they will fit, and blamed me!!! anyways, I had to made a slight modification..
  23. I would go for the wicked a-arms if it was my call!!
  24. I like engine ice!!
  25. I would split the cases as well. If it was maybe a motor laying around, the bearings could be rusty, putting a new top end on that is a waste..
