you will be way happy with the t5's i had them on my bike before i went all out on setting it up as a drag bike. the one thing you will for sure want to do to compliment the pipes is get a k&n air filter with outerwears and pro flow kit that way you can ditch the snorkel and airbox lid to make the motor "breathe" a lil better. and you will have to re jet the carbs for the new pipes as well as the air filter. are you using "resistor" plugs...meaning bR8es or bR9es?? if you are running the "non resistor"plugs ie b8es or b9es that could be your problem there as well,it did it with mine with "non resistors" as soon as i put resistor plugs in it cleared up for the most part. also make sure you have a good ground. Dan

i covered it woth elec. tape.....kinda hides it being the plug wires are black as well. make sure you just wrap the red around the plug wire and you ground the black wire. also....very important.... when you initially turn the unit on and set it up you need to set the PPR(pulses per revoloution) to 2 because the banshee is whats called a dead fire motor, meaning it fires both plugs 2 times per revoloution. i actaully had to call trail tech on that one.... and you will also have to slot the "C" bracket a lil to get it to fit and line up properly with the magnetic bolt in the hub. one other final thing.... if you can, get a small battery to run the vapor......like i said i had a very small motorcycle storege battery when i had mine... I only had to charge the battery like once a month....and i was riding it about 3 times a week at that time. actually i still have the battery and its in pretty good shape if ya want it let me know..... it fits perfectly in the airbox behind a K&N filter and pro flow set up Dan

I just talked to Dan @A&S he told me for 170.00 he will setup my carbs and cut/rechamber my head for alky. i think im gonna do it....if $$$ permits it . Dan tells me once hes done with the carbs i wont have to touch them...theyll be spot on. he says i should run low 4.8's high 4.7's if i can shift it. on a side note i might bring my new(to me) beater 87 bayou 300 with me and run in the utility races.....lol i cant wait..... Dan

Rapt 700 gives 5 & go in 1/8 wut add-ons 2 win
BansheeDan replied to Sheebang's topic in Roostin' Room
well im not defending anyone....but IMO the 700 are turds..... i was at the dunes labor day weekend and this guy came out with a 700 on nitrous and supposedly big bored and stroked....... well i dunno how "big" the big bore was or how much stroke the crank had... but i for sure know my lil stock carbed cpi piped,A&S racing play ported shee smoked it by 2 bikes heads up!! pulled off at the end of the strip to ask if he was spraying it and he was like "i was sprayin the hell out of it!" and there were many witnesses to this beating....so dont be real fast to call BS Dan -
CPI Pipes, and Stinger tubes with Toomey Silencer Bodies?
BansheeDan replied to jbooker82's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
i believe the toomey silencers will bolt up.... theres a guy at our track where we race that runs cpi pipes with toomey silencers. im not sure if he is using the toomey stinger tube or the cpi tube though. one thing you may want to consider is if the toomey silencers will hinder the performance of the cpi's. again not sure if it does or dosent.
