  1. Agreed, I have them abuse the hell out of them and they stay up!
  2. Yeah them Razr IIs are a hard tire to beat for dirt riding. 23" and 22" are pretty big I think youde be safe with 22s and 20s on the rear. Plus you wont lose as much bottom end with that combo.
  3. best of the best. This is DEFINATLY the one Im getting. 8 adjustments on the fly. Everybody I ride with has one. Its nice. Its around the 350.00 mark. http://www.gprstabilizer.com/products
  4. Im posting these ASR A-ARMS Because Ive heard alot of great things about them on here. Im sure someone who owns a set will chime in. They come with EVERYTHING. Plus if you bend it or break the arm itself for ANY reason it will be replaced free of charge under Lifetime Structural Warranty! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ASR-Banshee...tem180187130883 This is a good buy it now for some Elkas with Piggybacks. Standerd Elkas come without Piggybacks but they need rebuilt more often because they dont have an oil resivior. Plus if you want Compression and Rebound adjustments you can always send them back to Elka and have the install these adjustments for a few extra hundred. This is a little over 1K but its a damn good setup. +2 arms are still an improvment from stock but the 1" forward really does help it stand up to par for yamaha's lack of design on the Banshee. My Banshee with +2+1 Lonestar Racing A-Arms and Elka Elites handle like a dream. Much more stable through the corners it keep the wheels to the ground and for the Arms you can always adjust them if you get the caster/camber option. I saved up for almost a year to buy all of this stuff and Im more than thrilled I did. Seeing as you already have the money you can still get the best setup. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Elka-Front-...tem120187907638 TR6s are loud along with anyother aftermarket pipe but so are those damn 450s with sparks pipes. Louder than a piped Banshee anyway. Plus if you ever want to port the Banshee the TR6s are not the pipe for a port job T5s and all of the pipes I listed above are good all around pipes and all love porting. BTW The +2+1 A Arms will effect your riding by making it more stable and out there in the woods the tracks are all able to handle the extra 4 inches and they feel alot better. I was worried about the same thing but tight windy trails are usualy around the 54-56 inch range and youll be rite around 48 inches.
  5. Like stated its luck of the draw. I have a Noss Head 20cc domes and +4 timing advance 1849 above sea level and Im still good with 93 my compression is 157ish each side and I push the Banshee to its limit often reving to high working the clutch alot ect... However, I am going to start buying VP110 6.50 a gal, and start mixing 1 to 3 just to be safe. I definatly want to get my crank welded but Im not just gonna tear it apart to get it done. Ill wait untill I need a a rering on my pistons (Ill buy new at that time) then get her welded. Hopefully by then Ill have enough money to build my 4mil GNCC stroker (: titties
  6. Trust me if you buy some good shocks and +2+1 A Arms your SHEE will handle like a dream. I got Elka Elites all around on Lonestar +2+1 and its incredable. Now if you buy a good front end setup and a good rear shock you will be smashing z400s and will definatly be able to handel a 450 with suspension and motor mods. You could also keep all of your stock stuff put all the after market stuff on and you still decide you want a 450 then turn it back to stock and sell the good stuff. Then get the money to buy a trick 450
  7. Anyone want to do a huge ride out after hunting season. I know alot of great trails and pits. 9. Well I tried it on the stock swingarm and the same damn thing happened, The springs actualy rub and they rub worse when sitting on the bike so Im back to stock once again. Im about to send them back and get Custom Axis shocks all around. Im pretty pissed off here.
  10. With the motor your talking about youde be blowing by corners trans breaking wouldent cut it. Throtle control would be rediclous, never pinning it in 2nd 3rd gear forget about it, you would be overshooting everything. You would be getting pulled back from the uprite position you are wanting to be. Its just to much. Not to mention with the stock swingarm even a -1 you would be spining out of control and that would suck since your changing terain at every track youde never know youde want a +2 and that would suck. With the RZ350 PV motor ported would actualy use the PVs which would be good for holeshots and picking up to higher RPMs and you can make one of them a very broad powerfull motor. Only problem would be getting pipes to fit but if you want something bad enough it can be done all at the same probably less than a cheetah.
  11. Handeling mods are a key factor when owning and riding a Banshee. Remember we who own Banshees are 20 years behind on technology as far as the 450rs go. +2+1 Chromoly a-arms and a good pair of front shocks will help you gain speed and a more comfterble ride. Less arm pump bars ripping out of your hands ect. Now Works shocks are much better than stock for sure but if you spend the extra 350 on Elkas with Piggybacks you will know where that extra money went. I wouldnt recomend Axis for a weekend warroir but always remember you get what you pay for. Tires Razr II all around (Stock wheels should be fine) they last a very long time are very hard to pop in any condition and they hook and slide like crazy T6s are a very good choice but so are T5s Pro Circut Paul Turner Mids or FMF. I am currently running the TR6s and I love them but I will be switching to PT Mids when I get my stroker crank and port job to match. Oil 32:1 is perfect. 2 other cheap and great mods are to get your head shaved for more compression and get a Timing plate and advance that sucker to +4 both of those mods totgether will be 100.00 US tops and they are great mods. You can also buy or save up for a Noss head witch is the best way to go.
  12. Your definatly a cool breeze Dave. Mighty kind gesture.
  13. Hey bud, I cant get on E2S for some reason and Im having a problem PMing you on this board. The carb synch tool we talked about is lost somewhere I think I left it at my guys shop and it got mixed up in my parts boxes. If you still want to wait Im going up thursday or friday and Ill look again but it doesnt look like its showing up. Jeff probably has them in stock. I dont want to keep you waiting, Neil
  14. (PCed red) Swingarm is straight as an arow no cracks or dents whatsoever. Perfect shape with good bushings and dustcaps all around the 4 adjustment bolts are in great shape. Add $180.00 for dual row billit carrier. I have the rite carrier sitting up at my mechanics shop and will either sell or send it back for the $180.00 Im selling because my Elka LT Linkage and LT Shocks wont fit the Lonestar swingarm. I also have the stock linkage and a perfect stock rear shock no leaks whatsoever. I can get it serviced for $35.00 but it doesnt need it. Im looking for $210.00 shipped for the swingarm. I wont part anything out. I will sell the swingarm for 210.00 and the shock and linkage for 85.00 shipped. $285.00 for everything. Add $180.00 for the Twin Row Billit Carrier.
  15. Definatly WiZeCO they are the most proven pistons in all cases with all sorts of diffrent motors. I wouldent dream of putting any other pistons in my shee.
  16. How agressive did jeff port your motor? There are alot of things to take into consideration when your extending your swingarm. +6 would be to long to do any good air jumps you would have a hell of a hard time running through any technical stuff. Traction is key so make sure you dont go too long. Best person to talk to about this would be jeff since he did your motor. Lonestar make quality round house swingarms so do Lagers, ASR looks good to me though Ive never ran any ASR products. Ebay has alot of deals on 4130 chromoly round tube roundhouse style swingarms. If your going to be riding dunes it looks to be strong and lite enough, Dave Morr makes nice looking swingarms so doES T-Dubz. Guys running longer swingarms will chime in here Im sure.
  17. Yeah, so does the owners manual but its a bit much. I do 24:1 for a break in through 3 tanks of fuel then 32:1 is perfect. It will have your plugs looking like a purtorican babe sitting on a beach in mexico.
  18. If your not ported pretty aggressivly and want to run a quarter mile with a 450 bike you can forget about it assuming both of you are about the same riding skill level and both hook good 450 dirtbikes do like 13.5s in the quarter.
  19. As long as your jetted properly 927 32:1 all day. Same when I had my LT250R with yamalube. I tried 40:1 a few diffrent times and I dident really feel a diffrence. I think 32:1 is the perfect ratio and should make less ware on the pistons ect.
  20. 2 1" ones go in the grroves in the domes. Larger one goes in the cut gasket part all perfect fits. use some grease to hold them in place. kind of massage them in by pressing them not gliding with your fingers they strech that way and you have to keep doing it. You need longer cyl studs for the pro design if you dont already have them.
  21. If your giving it gas as you kickstart it then yes your flooding it. Pull the choke out too. And for god sakes put some GAS in.

  23. Yup. what waco said. You will really notice a diffrence.
  24. http://www.gtthunder.com/ If I wanted some shocks rebuilt I would definatly go to GT Thunder. Ive seen their stuff in action and its all good.
  25. Actualy thats false. There are a ton of factory GNCC riders out there who will tell you straight up they would rather race a 250R than any new 450 but why would a Honda Suzuki Yamaha not push what they are making and selling now instead of 20+ years ago?. Yes they cost more to build but as you know 2 strokes are just more fun to ride. Most guys I know with 450s and wouldnt think of bothering with a 2 stroke moved up from tricked out 400exs or Hybrid 450s and they love their 4 strokes so do the whole ATV buying Nation that sees them winning on one. But then you take your racer that started out on a 2 stroke knows how to handle the power and loves that hit even if they have to sink in a little more money and TLC. The 250R guys the 500 Guys and the Banshee guys who love and wont give their machine up for the world. Plus like I said no MABYES about it, if you are a good rider you can hang with any advanced 4 stroke with the rite upgrades YES! Really though, whats easy and cheap with any quad thats going to be raced? 4 strokes cost a fortune to rebuild and some of the 450s dont even have the bugs worked out yet witch may or may not end up costing you more in the longrun.
