I would go with a thumb throtle over a twist on a quad. On a dirtbike twist all the way.
I have never riden a quad with twist throtle so I cant compare them. I quad is nothing like riding a dirtbike.
I cant even think of how to explane the to with out making all kinds of hand movement and typing for 2 hours. Somebody will chim in soon for me.
Best time to try to sell a Banshee is right after you beat a group of 4-pokes. Just hold up a 4-sale sine once you crose the finish line. The 4-pokes can see the sine as they cross the line after you. You will have time to stop befor you need to hold the sine up. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
Get a taller ajuster for the top of your carbs so you can get full ajust ment. I have dual 35 PWK carbs and that is what I did. If you have a T.O.R.S elem kit. The ajusters on top of the caps are biger and will work for geting full ajustment. Yes my cluch arm is super close to my carb aswell.
You can get the ajusters from Jeff at Fast racing. Get the easey spring aswell if you get them from Jeff. Their supper nice on your thumb.
That is a nice offer. If I had any way to get it to you. I would take you up on that. As for the angel on the domes. I have no clue. Jim at passion racing put the motor together and he is not talking.
If I blew a base gasket. would the top end still hold compression?
No, It is not running yet. I have a new stator on the way. If that is not the problem. I will do a leak down test.
Do the 421 cubs use a different base gasket or will a stock gasket work?

I let it sit for 2 or so days now and it still will not start. I dont think it is flooded.
I had a 2002 Cr125 and it had the PC pipes had V-force and more. It had a 190 main jet in it and it was running rich at sea leval. I know that dose not help you but I can tell you this. If your fouling your plugs out every 30 minets you need to move down on your jets, not UP
Thanks HotCarl for letting me barow that stator. When I got home I found out it had the bifferent plug.

Today, I mesed with it for about 5 hours. Pulled the carbs off and put the old jets back in.
Pulled my stator off and tinkered with it. Moved the timing around to different points. Yesterday night I played with the stator for awile aswell. After that I tried to see if I was getting any spark now. To my suprise it had spark in one cyclinder now and not the outher. That was yesterday. So I was like cool I'll just come out tomoro and mess with it tell I get spark in the outher cyclinder and it should run.
Well, I am getting the crap shocked out of me on both cyclinders now and it still will not run. It tries to start but dose not and after 10 to 15 kicks it'll just backfire like a cannon. Sometimes when kicking it it'll fire for like one rotation and qiut. But not to where I'd say it ran or even started. I think that it is just fireing every now and agin cause when doing a spark test. I'll have to kick it several times tell I get the shock.
I think that I am just going to order a new stator package. If that dont work ????????????????????????????
That should give my leg a week or two to heal.

I went to take the stator off my 06 to do that same thing. Looked at my 06 and was like what the Funk. I forgot that I sent my 06 motor to Jeff.

Ok, I did a starter coil test today. The one listed in table 2 page 237 of your CLYMER manual. Iam not 100%sure that I did it right, but think that I did. I set the multy miter to 200 (ohms). This is what I got.
Lighting coil resistance resistance (ohms)
Yello/red-to-Black (2002) .5_______________________________0.26-0.38
Pickup coil resistance
White/red to white green 97.6_____________________________94-140
Charging coil resistance
Green-to-red 21.7________________________________________13.7-20.5
That is what I got . So you can make the call. Is my starter thing any good?
It all ran together so I delited it and reposted it.

Make sure that you put the pressure plate on right. Make sure that it touches the fiber plate. Make sure that it works propley befor you put the cover back on and add oil.
