Well first off, When I said that I put my Banshee back together. All I was talking about was the steering stem and gas tank. I never took apart the engin. Jim at passion racing put the moter together not me. I backed my timing down to where I had it befor. (+6) still no start. I onley moved the jets down one size not 4. They go from 155 to 152 on mains and 55 to 52 pilot. It is not a sheared crank key. Good idea thow. Had that happen once. Compression is at 175 PSI in both cyclinders. I dont see how a leak-down test would be nesseary cause the engine was never taken apart. I cant see any spark coming from my plugs. I keep think that it is the pick up by the flywill. Is their any way to test it? After looking at my timing plate and pick-up. I noticed that the timing plate was broken at one time and welded back together. The pick-up it's self is cracked on the botom and kinda broke off. It look's like they had to shave a pice of the plastick off the pick-up to get it to mount back on the timing plate. any ideas on what I can use to mesure .15 to .18 thousands besides my feller gage. Min is at my brothers house right now.

The gas is less then a week old. I dont think that it is not getting spark. Would to much timing cause it not to spark? Will I beable to see a spark betwen the flywill and pickup. If I have the cover off and I kick it over. Kinda like checking for spark on the plugs. Also any input on the coil and what coler wire go's to the + and - side.

I bumped the timing cause dajogerjr said in one of my outher post. Copied and pasted below. By the way, with that motor and domes you're already running race gas. If you have a timing plate, which I'd bet you do since you're at +6...max it out. It only measures up to +10 on the plate, but if you max it out it's about 11 or 12. You'll like it...promise He had a moter that is pritty much the same. I figered that he is not trying to savatiage my stuff. I'm sure that he will chim in soon. Heck I got in to start once. I'd think that it's not a timing issue.

Ok, Today I put my 02 Banshee (mods in sig) back together. When I had it apart. I bumped my timing from +6 to +9. I also leaned my jets and pilot from 155 and 55 to 153 and 52. After putting my Banshee back together I started it up and let it ideal. I let it run for maby 2 minets. Then when to pull in back into the garage. It felt like it jumped froward. I did not have the clutch pulled in alltheway and I killed it. I tried to fire it up agin and it will not start. I kept kicking it and all it would do is backfire every now and agin. I took the kill switch on my outher Banshee. I took the coil off my outher Banshee. I took the CDI box off my outher Banshee. I checked the compreshion. (175 psi in both) Put in new sparkplugs. :: :: Nothing worked, I dont think that it is getting spark. Would you think that it is the pick up by the flywill? This thing is pissing me off. One more thing. On the coil under the gas tank. Dose the orange wire go to the + or - side. I'd swar that on my outher banshee. The black wire go's to the + and the orange in the -. That just sounds weard to my.

That is cause you are running stock carbs. Mine has Dual 35 PWK. Differnt jets for different carbs.

I talked to my brother yesterday. He said that the kid I raced is just so butt hurt about getting smoked. Now the guy it saying that he is going to sell his quad for $5000 and get a quadzilla to race me. ROFLOL :yelrotflmao: I droped the jets down to 152 and 52 so that should lean my banshee up alittle. I bumped the timing to +9. Wile looking at my banshee today and changing jets. I noticed that my carbs were not even opening up all the way. Both of them were in sync just not moving to the top of carb. I cant wait to ride it agin.

I thought that I could use the the stocker aswell but could not. The end that go's to the carb is just like the part that go's in the lever. and the T.O.R.S end was different. Could probley use the one for a T.O.R.S elem kit thow.

IMO you should do the buillet watter pump, shift star mod and 3 Hevey duty spings at the same time. That is what I did plus a Pro shift kit from ebay. Shifts so smooth.

I cant wait to see some pisc of that 18mill you puttin together. After looking at those pics you posted of cyclinders nothing elce compars anymore. Hell I'm pumpud about seeing some more pise. You must be waliking around with a 3rd leg. If you have that thing running in July you should take it to BIGREDS trip in KP wyoming.

Thats crazey, I went to my local shop today and asked for a price on a frame. He looked on the same web site as this www.ronnies.com and told me $580. That is cool now I know where he gets my sh_t and what he pays for it. Then agin I dont hafto pay for shipping at the local shop. I took my broken cable to my local shop today to get a new one. The guy tried to find it by looking up the numbers on the side of the cable. He was unable to help me, Can you? I need a part number for a throttle cable for my thumb throttle with Dual 35PWK carbs. The motion pro park number or a Bike that uses the same cable. You probley know what I am asking for. Thanks

I was just moving the timing up in baby steps. Started at +4, at +6 now going to move to +9 next. I had the 155 main jets in and 55 pilet and it was running rich. Going to move to 152 mains and 52 pilets next. My sister posted the video of me riden on her myspace page. Now one of her friends wants to race me. He has 2 Banshees and his brother has 1. It kinda sucks cause he has seen my Banshee now and i dont know what he has to race. I have never met him. I hear that he is a bipsh_t so I hope he dose not have sompthing faster then me. I think that I need to practic the takeoff. This race was the first time I had tried to take off with out spinning the tires. I did not have any luck. Anybody have any tips for my. Thanks

Thanks for all the deals but I will hafto pass for right now. I took a 2X4 to my frame today and made it better but far from perfect. Also, jeff has my 06 moter right now. I havent talked to him yet to see what he can talk me into and what it'l coast. So I'd better just stop spending wile I'm ahead. Bigred350x thanks for that info you posted. I started reading a poast on that but left in the middel and could not find it agin. My DMV is right around the corner and I never hafto wait more then 10 min. Look into the toomey T-5 Pipes. Much better IMO then the T-6 pipes. Also try useing the search button

Just cause somebody says that it is straight dose not make it so. I dont like to mess with outhers peoples stuff. If I start new their will not be a problem. I like to have peace of mind.

Could you guys tell me where I can get a new Banshee frame for Cheep. The cheepest I have found is like $680. I did a search and somebody said they found one for $389. My old one is not bad. I just want to starte a project drag Banshee for the 1/4 mile track in the fucher. Thanks

About 3 years ago I had a CR125. Their is a trail about 300 feet from my drivway to get to a good riden spot. 3rd time I was coming back to my house and a cop saw me on the road. By this time I am in my drivway with my helment off. They pulled up in my drivway with their lights on. Called for back up. 3 more cop cars are in my driveway now. Long storey short. They put my 2002 CR 125 on the back of a tow truck and inpounded it. I onley had my CR for about 1 week befor this happened. They took my shit and put it in impound for 30 days. I was lukey that I was able to get it out after 11 days. I had just bought my cr out of state and had not registered it yet. They let my get it out earley so that I could take it down to DMV and they could look at the vin numbers. BLAW BlAW BLAW That coast me 370 dolleres to ride on the road one time for less then 300 feet. I will never ride on the road agine. If I would have had to pay the impound fee on 30 days (around $1100)I would of gone postal. I would rather have the neighbors yell at my rather then call the cops any day of the week. One of the werst fellings is watching the cops and tow truck driver take my sh_t away.
