Maybe the sprocket that wore out in that day was just made from a shit grade steel, and/or not heat treated properly. I guarantee that if they made it from a mild grade steel with no heat treating it would wear out that fast. I have seen things wear out that just dont make any sense other than just plain piss poor manufacturing.

I'm running the clear braided hose that you can buy at home depot or lowes. It's cheap, but it does look badass ! No problems yet. Have not run it in any really hot temps tho.

Fuck that dude and his bike. You'll prolly be sorry in the future if you buy his bike. Banshees have come pretty far down in price lately. I bought my 1998 in 2005 for just over 4k. It was in good shape, ran great, looked good and all and since then I have done alot of mods to it. I see them all the time for 500 to 1k less than I originally paid with more mods than I curently have. Hang in there and buy right ! You'll be alot happier. BTW, I have seen a couple nice ones in the BHQ for sale forums that are not that far off in price than what you seem to be willing to pay. Most of these guys really take great care of their bikes. Check it out......... :thumbsup:

BTW, for any of you guys that need to run VP110, I was there on christmas weekend and they are selling vp110 for like 6.50/gallon. Thats about the same price I can buy it locally. I actually paid more for different race gas here in OKC and hauled it all the way down there :shoothead: .

Never ran the dune stars. I can say that they look uglier than sin tho. They also look like they are made primarily for Rhinos/Rzrs and such. I ran the sand stars at the dunes for a couple years and was pretty impressed with them. They hook pretty good and you still have the ability to swing the ass end around with ease. I run haulers now for better holeshots, but if I ever change from the haulers it would be back to the sand stars.

Chrome Houser +4 swinger..... Comes with carrier and chain. This swinger is used but in good shape. Looks very nice installed. It was advertised as a +6 on fleabay when I bought it. It is just not long enough for me. $350 shipped OBO On bike

Best to ask kevin if those carbs will work. Maybe they'll be good for temporary setup, but,I think you want to go 33mm and up with that setup. I run 35mm pwks on mine and very happy with them. Never tried anything smaller tho.
