  1. Hell yeah ! Can always put a little extra green to good use (usually on the shee ! lol)
  2. Thats the idle mixture screw. It is an air screw (adds air as you open it). Gently screw it all the way in, and back it out 1.5 to 2 turns. Once it is idling you can fine tune it.
  3. Hey Sinister, What's up ?
  4. LOL :yelrotflmao:
  5. Sent PM. No oil filter on ur banshee. Baker Boys has never had anything I needed. Good luck with them. Red Rock will have good prices on performance fuels. Prolly best to wait to buy large amount of methanol till after winter, but if you plan to ride alot don't worry bout it. Just don't store it directly on the floor (as stated earlier in the thread). Prop it up on some wood and keep it sealed good and tight to keep moisture out (methanol absorbs alot of moisture).
  6. Shocker, I live in Edmond. PM me if you want any help. I'll get you my # and Help you out as much as I can. Prolly headed for Lil Sahara for a quick trip this weekend. Leme know if you wanna ride out there. Brian P.S. I know it's pretty far, but the best place I found to go for anything banshee related here in OKC metro area is Phil's Cycle in ElReno.
  7. Yeah get it rebuilt. Sounds like a bad head gasket anyway. (Spitting out coolant and it isn't even hot.)
  8. Go to the atv shop and buy yourself a Ratio-rite mixing cup. QUIT GUESSING !!! I run Klotz Supertechniplate synthetic oil @ 40:1 and I like it, tho I could probably still mix it a little thinner. Asking us what oil to use is like asking us what truck to buy. There are people who really believe in certain oils but in reality, there are alot There are alot of really good pre-mix oils out there. Just pick any of the oils previously mentioned and mix it right. You'll be fine, and you will buy less oil and spark plugs. P.S. Buy a DODGE !!!!!! LOL
  9. Get yourself some dial calipers with a depth rod on them. Call Jim at Passion Racing Engines. He will tell you what to measure and how to measure it. With that info, he can tell you exactly what your port timings are and what that means to you (how it will run). You could probably call any number of builders and get that help. I just recommend Jim because he is a real straight shooter and has always been willing to take his time working with me over the phone (even when he wasn't selling me something). Good luck.
  10. Hey, whatsup Sinister ? Been really busy for a while. Had a couple of jobs for a while, but now takin it easy with just one. Finally getting around to piecing the shee back together. Got a really nice port job done by PRE(Jim) in Tulsa. It looks like a top notch job. I cant wait to get this bitch fired !!!!!!!
  11. What are you looking to get out of it ?
  12. This ad is really funny. Click Over $10,000 invested ? LOL "Apocalyptically fast" ???????? LOLOL :teehee: :teehee:
  13. i know this is pretty unusual, but... looking for one coolhead waterneck. missing one for an old style prodesign coolhead.
  14. Yeah, watch out for that tranny........even if it is a standard!! Standards had some problems too.
  15. They are supposed to be a close slip fit. That is.... should slide out by hand with sme drag. My guess is the guy you bought it from melted his motor down and warped the head and had to beat the old domes out with a hammer. You helped him buy a new head for his new build !! You might be able to run it, a gap in that spot in most cases probably wouldnt hurt anything, but it might be warped as you suspected. Run it at your own risk.........you may have trouble getting it to seal everywhere. I have gotten fucked on every purchase I have ever made over there at PS for many $$$. It seems like those guys are all just looking for some sucker to buy them new parts. I only do business here on the HQ now, and am still really careful with who.
  16. does the dome fit in there loose or tight ?
  17. oh, i can hardly tell shit from that pic... you are talking about the bore being out of round ?
  18. How much is a little ? When both plates and domes are assembled (without o-rings) the dome may stick out of the base plate .003-.005 but more than that could end up being a problem. I have seen that on every coolhead assembly I have dealt with. I think they are designed that way to ensure that the domes are lightly pressed against the cylinder deck. You can hold all of the pieces together (domes up) on a bench and measure the step with a depth mic. Dont forget: Because that aluminum expands and contracts with temp changes you will have to retourque the head nuts after riding it once or twice.
  19. you have a PM
  20. PM Sent to yourself ? Are those a-arms green ?
  21. pics are a little dark, is that a round housing or stock style swing arm ?
  22. They were ported for a 4mil longrod crank.
  23. I dont know ?? I like those little perky titties !!!! what blowers ??
  24. Man, you live in Colorado now ? I can't believe you hunt and fish less. I hear the best fishing and hunting is right there in your back yard. I'm not a hunter, but I like fishing. Probably cant call it fishing tho.... more like casting while getting buzzed. :yelrotflmao:
