  1. good 1st post and screename. if you're smart enough to use the search you probably don't need our help.
  2. Who the hell is building 15mils already? What bore is that, 108?
  3. you can tap pretty hard with a dead blow and be ok too
  4. Wiggle and pull, shouldn't be hard. may be stuck to teh gasket some and they can hang up on teh studs.
  5. Returned your PM on the pipes, if you can verify they're small flange and hopefully small bore i'll take 'em fo sho
  6. Where are you located?
  7. if you look at the pic you'll notice they're non-adjustable, i'm hoping he could have figured that out himself. it almost looks like it's sitting like that b/c of the longer shock, do you have a different set just to try?
  8. meh, nvm, not worth the effort. but post pics of this badass bike if you would. doesn't look like you come around often, be nice to see some new stuff.
  9. Damn i want that strut, next dibs.
  10. More pics of that sexy thing. And a location and some more detail would be nice.

  13. put me down (again i guess) for the pipes. wish you'da pm'd me with the lower price. i WILL take them if the other 2 dont want them. money in paypal ready to go.
  14. Ya that'd work. I figure try the milled head 1st cuz ill just give it to ya, if it doesnt get you where you want i'll sell the coolhead shell pretty cheap, and some new domes would only be 60 or 65 i think.
  15. So you checked for spark and don't have anything?
  16. Call Jeff and see what his opinion is then. Keep in mind every bike is different, your parts have worn differently then the next guys. You can't do exactly what someone tells you and expect it to work perfectly. You got some good ideas from here and using the search hopefully, try 'em out and see what works best.
  17. I'm guessing that's a billet basket, are the fingers grooved at all, got any better pics?
  18. Welcome to the banshee sir
  19. I had some rigid mounts and didnt have problems with my t-5's, it did rattle a bolt out though. I'll probably throw some rubber bushings or O-rings on next time. Hopefully that'll help keep the pipes (if i get shearers or cpis) from hittnig the head too.
  20. lol he just said if your fibers are good no you don't have to. if you've fried them then yes go ahead and get a new set so you know you're starting fresh.
  21. well shit, keep goin round and round on this. Figure out the carb is a keihin for sure. Body says pwk on it, but it has the cap that is held on by screws (not screws on). the only one keihin makes like this is the 28mm, but he said the main in it is a 172, stock in a 28mm is 135 i think. i'm betting it is a 28mm, it jsut doesnt quite all add up. Edit: And if you go by this http://www.carbparts.com/keihin/pwk_jettin....htm#Dimensions and want to measure the carbs to see what they are, for the 35-39 the inlet/outlet dimensions are the same, htf do you tell the difference?

  23. What kind of portwork, who did it, what bore is it on, does it need rebuilt, etc. etc.
  24. Get some new exhaust o-rings and clean everything good, then re-install. Can use some high temp RTV on 'em too to get a better seal. No biggie
  25. Kevin's been doin 'em for many moons but i'd say the past few years started doing alot more from here and I'm sure from out in his area.
