  1. Been using Tusk clutches for awhile and I definitely ride my stuff hard and have never broken one, not even close.
  2. I'll be there with a pretty big group, we'll have to do some racin sounds like we've got similar setups. 12 paddles would definitely be interesting with a +4 arm though...
  3. Yes you will probably want a lock-out. I have one on my cub and no override and it is still VERY rideable, contrary to what alot of people say. I also have a +6 swinger and just regular haulers. You gonna be at LS at the end of march, 18-22 or w/e it is? Maybe I could let you try my 10 paddle reg. haulers and see if it'll launch in 2nd, it's worth a try, alot easier to try free stuff than buy it if you don't know if it'll work.
  4. Who designed and built the frame? Very very nice bike too
  5. You must have some jetting issues or something if it won't pull that gearing at LS. The sand is pretty soft and deep but with those tires it should have spun them easily IMO. I run a 13/42 gearing, maybe 13/41 not completely sure with a 421 cub and 10 paddle haulers, +6 swingarm. I haven't had the cub at LS yet but the other sand I have ridden it in it spins through most all of 1-2-3, granted I only weigh 145ish lbs. too. I would ask Jim what he recommends, he's doing the motor and he has plenty of experience to get you on the right track.
  6. Bump. The OBO must be hard to read in the 1st post.
  7. Bought these last summer and never used them. Bike is more of a dune bike now and I won't be running alcohol for awhile on anything. I never used them and can't remember exactly what mains/pilots/dump tube dimensions are. I did measure the mains in them and they are right around a .115 or .114 and they will come with 2 .116 mains. I want to say the dump tubes are drilled out to .118 but don't want to make any promises. They also have one float removed in the bowl. They were used on a drag ported stock cylinder bike and a 421 cub by the previous owner at sea level and he said they worked great. The filters are real K&N's, 6" and around a 20 degree angle. I'm gonna start off at $350 shipped for these, I think that's a really good deal, if you don't think so then make an offer. Here's some pics:
  8. Same spring break as Banshee~. Couple of college buddies from across Oklahoma are the same so we're going then. Should have 2 spots somewhere, quite a few quick banshees, couple of quick raptors and some SxS's.
  9. Mine is just a cub. But believe me a 421 powervalve would be more than enough power to do what you want with it. Plus the reliability of a 4mil and availability of parts. I would do it in a heartbeat over a 10mil.
  10. My 421 has plenty of ooomph so far to get me up what I've thrown at it. I've only got 165lbs of compression too. I threw the t-5s on it this last weekend and I swear it was a torque monster. Otherwise anytime it would bog if it's jetted well you can just blip the throttle and it'll spin the tires and get ya goin again.
  11. I really do hate it when I agree with you
  12. Does this post mean bigred will be disappearing for awhile again now You're just as bad as the "nutswingers." You're just a reverse swinger of the nut. You give him just as much publicity as anyone else you idiot.
  13. I hated the ASV when I put it on my bike. Didn't seem to adjust right or pull right and the clutch didn't act like it wanted to disengage completely. Put one of the cheapo's from Jeff on there and it cleared it up. Could have just been me but a buddy of mine had the same problems and sold his right away too.
  14. Any (most) port jobs that will run well with cpi's should run well with shearers. Anyways I've got a mint set of T-5's I'd be willing to trade. You would be paying me some cash though mine are worth quite a bit more than $300.
  15. Kev's dune port ran frickin awesome when I had it with Shearers. On another note: I have some CPI inframes for sale, I'm up in Stillwater and come through OKC often. Lmk.
  16. Yet you'll vote for Obama ::
  17. You honestly 100% believe Obama can fix the problems going on in the U.S. right now?
  18. I'm just hoping all the poor folks don't end up with 50% of what I'm gonna end up making in a year after I graduate...fuck that.
  19. Interested in some videos too. I know a pretty big group of drag racers in Oklahoma that might be willing to come check this out. But judging by your attitude so far it doesn't exactly sound like a fun time.
  20. Research doesn't = researching all the positive about Obama and all the negative about McCain. That's call politics, NOT doing your own research. And no, I didn't copy/paste this^^^
  21. You have the best way of proving your point. You're really opening up some eyes on this site I bet.
  22. Free post
  23. You're quite a confident owner. Got any vids of your bike running? Where do you ride?
  24. You are right, Fastest on the Planet record holders are all Quadzillas, sorry our mistake
