where would i be able to get the tape? I'm trying to take care of this problem without having to drop off the quad for weeks again. Anybody got any ideas?

I'm definitely planning on taking it back, but just curious....what is thread tape? Could it be used in this case?

ya, so i finally got my she running great and i notice she is leaking some coolant fron the head gasket...ok, this sucks but not horrible. So i check the head nuts to make sure they are the right torque. and of course the first one i touch just keeps fucking turning. So now the bolt will just keep turning and won't tighten. Obviously crossthreaded. Is there any other option besides a coil? Cuz the shop that did the engine work did the same shit when i bored the cylanders, and THEY are the ones that put the engine back together. Anybody got any ideas?

I got the she running decent finally. It sounds good, but it's like one cylinder isn't firing right or something. The left pipe doesn't get hot and doesn't blow out any smoke, just warm air. It might be the left carb because i took the fuel hoses off and the right one seemed a little too dry to have just run. And the right silencer is blowing out light smoke, like it's running fine. Just as a background, .80 over bore, pro curcuit pipes and silencers, stock carbs, 360 main jet and 27.5 pilot jet all the way turned in. Anybody got any advice, i'm just trying to get it running good so i can ride it a bit then sell it.

i can deliver it into canada if you want. Just tell them i'm going riding somewhere. And drop it off to you, or meet or whatever. Also i forgot to mention that it's all tuned good now. I got a free day so i picked up some jets and got her running good. But I will keep the price the same for a bit. If the quad doesn't sell within another week or two, i'm gonna take it up to the shop around here and get it professionally dyno tuned. So they can check for any leaks and get it on the dyno, see how much she is really puttin out. Then the price might come up a bit. price 2500

ok, everything is back together and ready to go, and i really just don't feel like taking the shee yet again to the shop so it can spend another 3 weeks there. So i just wana tune it myself. Here are the specs: cylanders bored .80 over with intake and exaust port(nothing huge, just a bit more flow). Pro curcuit pipes and silencers, V force 3 reeds, TORS eliminated, And no air box, just 2 separated air filters. honestly i understand the whole principle of jetting and how it works, i just have no idea where to start from. By the way, i live in buffalo, NY. The bike was stock the last time it was ridden. I had it running a couple times since the parts/engine work and it ran really rich every time so i never let it run for long. Somebody give me some help! please....
