  2. Buy a Clymer manual for the Banshee, trust me you can do it. It will save you lots of $$$$$ to learn how to do it yourself. Plus if you get stumped there is alot of info and help on the HQ.

    lil help here

They are a bitch to get off, just find a end and work your way around. A little flat head screw driver and some needle nose pliers works good. Good Luck.
  5. My stator is off a 89 and it is lookin pretty shitty too, but it passed the ohm tests. I just cleaned up the ends with fine sand paper and slapped her in, works great.
  6. I got a 4mm woods port done at F.A.S.T. and before it even got ported Jeff asked me where I want the power to be at in the RPM range. Well after getting it together its exactly what I wanted, it rides trails like nobodys buissness and smokes the 4 pokes.
  7. They stoped making j-arm frames in 1990.
  8. Dude that wasn't a Black cat firecracker that had to be at least a m-80! :yelrotflmao:
  9. Do you have a compression tester? If so get a reading from both cylinders and post it up. If your at 160psi or above you should run 110 oct.
  10. How did you break two springs? Keep in mind this guy wants to set his up for trail riding/recreational riding. Now if your gonna hit some 40 foot doubles then go with some Elkas!lol
  11. It was a pain in the ass bleeding my rear brake,it took a while but if you do it like stated above you'll eventually have pressure. Good Luck.
  12. Dude $2400 for that bike is a steal! Somebody's got to jump all over that. Where you located?
  13. Works makes a great shock for the price. I got them all the way around and I can rip through some nasty whoops and roots without getting jarred up. Keep a look out for some used fronts just make sure they are setup for the length of the a-arm that you choose and your weight.

  16. Yea when I broke mine in last weekend I just did 2 heat cycles and retorqued everything. Then I rode it easy for about 15 min to make sure everything was all good, then I gave her hell.

  24. Well if you pop that cover off you will see that the only thing that seals it is an o-ring, replace it.
  25. The neutral switch doest do anything on a banshee, there's only a plastic block off plate there. Is it leaking transmission oil there?
