  1. I had a 4mm woods port done and got the engine done this mourning and I ripped her all this afternoon. Holy shit does this thing pull hard!!!!! The power comes on exactly where I wanted it too, and the power-band is down right violent! Mad props to F.A.S.T. Racing for the port work, products, and freshening up my top end. Thanks again Jeff.
  2. Ha thats exactly what I used, well yamabond(same shit). Im gonna let it dry overnight and give it a shot tommorow.
  3. Yep its leaking around one of the screws, can I make my own gasket for it or will that not work? Thanks, Bill
  4. Im in the process of building my banshee and I ran into the same problem,I have FMF fattys also. I took the protective spring off another rad hose I had lying around and put it there where it touches. I might throw a couple zip ties on it to hold it back also. Good luck
  5. Well if my miss was other that the coil before than I shouldnt have any problems now since everything on the engine is fresh and new. Ill have her fired up by this weekend and see how it runs. Thanks for all the info B.
  6. Yea my tester only goes up to 2000k, guess that explains why i'm not getting a reading from plug wire to plug wire. As for my tester it zeros out at 00.2 ohms, so my primary coil is testing 00.8 ohms. With the primary coil testing wrong will it give me a weak spark causing plugs to fowl? It worked on my banshee before I tore her down, but it did have a slight miss on the bottom. I don't know ill keep tinkering with it and see how it runs when I get the banshee done.
  7. I am testing the ignition coil and I got a problem. When I test the primary coil I only get 00.6 ohms when its supposed to be around 0.28-0.38 ohms. And when I test the secondary coil (leads) I get nothing when its supposed to be around 4,700-7,100. Im testing it exactly the way the Clymer manual explains. I cleaned both ends of the leads and put new spark plug ends on. Is this coil junk?
  8. Yea pull the carbs off and clean the pilots and mains, then give the rest of the carbs a good wipe down.
