  1. yea its true but you have to be standing over it for it to work...
  2. even if it wasnt 10 years ago what the fuck kinda response is that hellfaggot! sometimes id rather pay some one else to get under my car and change it cause i dont feel like it and i can afford to have someone else do it.. so that means i deserve to get ripped off? your probly one of those fukin queers that do bullshit like that... let me catch a mother fuker trying that on me ill stomp his pussy ass in the garage he works at.
  3. word im thinking the boost bottle is the reason my motor is bogging out when i peg it. going to try a few more jets and see befor i yank it off, but thats the only thing i can see it being if the jets dont bring her back home.
  4. sounds to me like he came across some money and is going to dump it into his bike but dosent want to be like the crowd, he is hoping he can get something that others dont have and keep up or maybe beat and say see you dont need a cub to go fast. hats off to you for trying something differant but i still dont see why you want to spend all that money to just be differant when the cubs have been proven.
  5. same with mine i pull choke and kick it hard if it dosent start i kick it 2 more times and push the choke back in and barley crack her open and give her a kick , works every time.
  6. not true. first off a stock banshee has plenty of bottom end , and even if the bottom end was crap putting around in 2nd then pinning it wouldnt casue it to bog, its bogging out becasue you have loaded up the carbs with fuel by putting around. 2 strocks are in no way made to run at low rps. 2 strokes are made to run at high rpms and have fuel movment constantly. when you putt around the carbs load up fuel trying to push it to the cylinders and to overload them when you suddenly dump the throttle.
  7. the differant dome sizes will determine your compression which will then determine your gas octane needed to prevent detonation. as for the out board motors they dont get as large of gain as a smaller motor will by adding suddle changes. the banshhe and any other small motor for that matter makes major gain by performing the smallest bolt on or machined modification do to the displacmetn these motor have. back to the main topic if your running a stock bore stock stroke motor then in my opinion there is no reason to put a cool head on your bike spned the money else where and get new reeds or porting , if your stuck on the coolhead then 22cc domes will run a stock bike fine on 91 octane but like i said what the point?
  8. i dont really understand why you want to play with something that isnt as reputable as a cub. for the money your going to put into this mistery motor having it ports and stroked you could get something you know is going to rip and not have to think twice about, worst comes to worst your going to find your self spending more money buying a cubby anyways becasue you already know the reputation they hold.
  9. 107 bucks??? dude go get your self a cr 250 kill switch they cost 8 bucks and splice it into the harness and your good. and not only that but youll clean up your bars by getting rid of the big ass light switch and kill switch box.
  10. dont bother with the keys they are a pain in the ass if you want to play with differant timings.
  11. take off your clutch cover and check to see if your pressure plate is hitting the three nipples on the inside of the clutch cover... mine did that and caused it to stall out... i had to get a grinder and take off a little bit of the nipple to make clearance.
  12. reguardless of what you do to rebuild your motor DONT go back to those fuks! id say do what chase said minus the spacer id rather cut the head but its up to you.
  13. what are u talking about? make your question more clear plz
  14. yea i had to get new bars to match my scheme i couldnt rock the stockers any longer
  15. iv never heard that... i dont see how it would hurt it. all it does is breaks the electrical loop when the tether is pulled so it kills the motor
  16. your next mod should be professional grade blinkers and a vp fuel sticker that has to add 15 hp
  17. i used to use the yamaha gear oil that was 10w30 same thnig as normal motor oil... your service manuel actually calls for it or at least on 2000's it did
  18. you ust getting fibers and steels with hd springs?
  19. im not 100% positive, but i do belive that all the cdi's are the same... i got a 2000 banshee and got a 2001 Dynatek ignition ... when i called dyna they said the only differance was the lead for a tach (or how ever its spelled) and the programer lead.
  20. Boysen RAD Valve with Near New Reeds..... $60 Stock Reed Cages
  21. well as far as the wires go you get get rid of your tors ( Throttle Over Ride System ) and yuo can get rid of your key as well. befor you go spening money on bigger carbs get your pipes and pods... only get pods if you dont ride in water and mud. also get a port job if you have the money. stock bike doesnt really need 34 mm carbs you can put your money many athoer places to wake that thing up before the carbs. that is assuming your not going to stroke or bore your motor anytime soon.
  22. all texans welcome, cept those from dallas area h town WOOT
