  1. i dont think id bother ... i havent heard much good from the new owner.... everything good was when russ was running it... the last 6 months or so its mostly negitive feedbck iv heard. and like brad said i got fastenerguy kit and wasnt too happy with the polished set casue its wasnt very polished... the bolts dont look cheap just wasnt to pleased with the lack of polish they had for the price...
  2. i went with candly blue with a silver under coat that shines throught in the sine ... makes it look like metalic flakes... i get my shit back this week ill post picts once i pick it up
  3. bigger carbs would only be needed bepending on the port job... if its mild then id say you could run stock but .... it wouldnt hurt to maybe get some 28 pwk for better throttle respones.. if your motor has a pretty wild port job then yes it wouldnt hurt to go bigger but its kinda hard to tell you not knowing much about the motor... also you say go smaller domes? we dont know what size your running yet so you might already be at stock... get a compression tester and see how much compresso you got and post what fuel youd like to run and maybe we can be a little more helpful

  5. ever heard the term she was a few sandwiches shot of a picnic? well lindsey was a few hand fulls over a picnic and maybe a bag or two of chips but she was nice and took alot of things back when they normally wouldnt... she was a total bitch when you talked to her but if you took the time to talk to her she would actually help you....

  8. i used to drop by alba all the time... when i was looking for a new swinger i asked lindsey a chick that worked for alba about their swingers and she laughed...she said dont waste my money... they have had tons of them coming back with busted welds and they werent repalcing them... alba has absulutly got THE WORST customer service ! i refuse to go out to them after a run in with the sales manager when buying my wifes 450... even if they are the only place in town with the part i need ill pay a few buck more and have it shipped to me...
  9. i agree with firehead but if our adamit on keeping it ill see if i can help id say you can do the fenc your self... go to lowe or home depot and you can get the shit.... pull off the old gate and cut the chian links... then you can get the things to wrap the fence and secure it and hang another gate on the pole... the fence is an ez fix and wuld be much cheaper to do your self... your storage... well until you can get the materials to build a ghetto shed id say find a place that wont fluid and cover your shit with a tarp and try to clean out the shed... im guessing your mom wouldnt mind you re arranging her shed if your cleaning it out and making room i there..
  10. drian your fluids and pull your cover... see if the idler gear is being ingauged when you push down the kicker.. for your shifter see if your star and shift shaft are inline? you might need to rebuild it...if so call jeff at fast he has some mods you can do to it to improve your shifting while your at it...
  11. if your talking about the big lock nuts tht go against the sproket hub...i got 2 used one you can have just pay shipping...
  12. get a duneable over ride... you can shift clutchless WOT up and down... but your going to pay a few hunder for sure
  13. some have said the vf2 actually put out more power... but they are much harder to get then vf3... the 1-2 hp to me im not that worried about... if i was trying to squeeze every hp out i possibly could then i might look into it... one thing with vf2 they have little metal screws that hold in the reeds... if one comes loose and gets sucked your pretty much kissing your moto good bye... so you HAVE to make sure you put loctitie on them...
  14. its hard to give you an amount of time... for some they last years and some days... it is vry ez to say that as you add mods your rolling the dice for sure... if you hav the money id just invest in some new pistons... if you wait until they come apart your going to spend more getting your cylinders fixed.
  15. within the last 10 years kids have become softer in critics eyes... sometime within the last 10 years it was decided that kids are impacted by seeing viloance in movies.. or they have to be 5 or 60lbs to not sit in a car seat... or they have to wiegh so much to be able to play sports.. what happened to you stick your finger in a light socket to relize fukt hat hurts... its probly not smart to do that? or man thats really sucked when i fellout of the tree i guess i shouldnt climb it anymore... people have gotten weaker and now our next gneration of kids are going to be even worse... evrything is child abuse now.. you bet your ass my kid will get his ass whooped for doing something stupid... i just dont understand what is th big deal with censoring shit now days...

Hell watch football , or any movie, and theres worse things for kids to see on there then a set of bouncing boobs... only in america do we shield our kids from simple things like boobs... in most countrys "sex" or nudity is so normal that people dont make a big deal out of it.but liberal america i guess some time in the last 10 years decided our kids are to soft to be exposed to this things? i know im not hiding it from my kids amoung many other topics that my kids will be intruduced to, but ill leave that to another time not to plug this topic with other crap..

  18. a cdi isnt going to give you a hotter spark... the only thing that will do that is a coil... like a nology.... the programable cdis like dyna are very nice like you said they advance to pump up that bottom end and retard it back to give you that top end back... but your not getting one of those for 60 bucks lol...
  19. the timing being advanced isnt whats making the bike die... also the rev max wil do nothing to raise your max rpm by a 1000 like they say... your rpms on 2 strokes are controled by your pipes..
  20. its not smart to reuse o rins.. once they have been squished and heated up they wont seal the same when you reuse them... spend the few bucks and get new o rings...
  21. hes crazy to say it sucks... metricmaster please explain why it sucks.... the work your going to put into controling that fukin motor with a +2 is going to ruin your ride... it wont even be fun... id say +4 if your doing 70% trails... if you did dunes more id go even longer, by no means less then 4... you can still jump with a +4 as long as your looking at like mx jumps... i jumped my +4 at the dunes fine but like i said nothing like mx style jumps...
  22. eekkk you are going to be working your self over trying to control that thing with a +2 ..... id go +4 minumim.... you only ride trails? never dunes? i sold my +4 and went +6 for my 421... and even then it still is going to be a handful if you try to luanch hard in first....
  23. let me ask you this.... you got a cub? what size? and why a cub for trails? you are trying to ride a drag motor in trails... doesnt make sence... but none the less. if your running a 421 cub your a fool to try and control it with a +4 much less a +2 .... that thing will get away from you like crazy... im guessing you got a stock stroke cub?
  24. i got my kit from fastenerguy... i wasnt to pleased with the "polish" or lack there of.. i was expecting them to look better then they do... but i have to give it to the guy the bolts looks good they dont look like the shity china made bolts most ppl try and sell... i guess i will see how well they hold up here in a few weeks when i get all my shit back from pc and chrome...i got some anti seize so i should be ok...
  25. if your just honing to break the gloss.. you can use pretty much any lubricant... we used to use wd-40 on our go kart motors.... i wouldnt suggest this becase we rebuilt those things every 3 races... but you dont need any thing special... premix would work hell even atf...
