if his stockers are anything like mine where when i rebuilt it he wont get the studs in very far by hand. i had to use the nuts and a wrench to turn them down. i cant remember what the white crap is called that builds up but there was alot of it in the holes
it should shift into first without any tension but to get to 2,3,4,5,6 you need to turn the drive shaft ..... just turn it by hand. you dont need to spin the crap outof it just enough to make the gears turn and catch when the forks try to push them
you have to assemble the bottom half and click through the gears like your riding it. you can feel it making it to the next gear. you can also do this with the clutch cover off and see the shift start turning. sitting still you shoul dbe able t shift though all the gears
20 is pretty common. just keep in mind with a stock head when you save it your not olny making your domes smaller but your tightneing the squish. to much and you will constantly blow your head gasket
damnit Dave! our investers at Bigboy's IT deptment didnt want anything leaked out until the formula was compplete and EVERY employee was able to test it on a live sheep of thier choice
if im not mistaken weisco makes the hotrods and they are marketed under a differant company? ill see if i can dig the info back up i was reading on it.
edit: found it. it was weisco makes the bottom half of the crank and hotrods makes the rods. packaged as a hotrods crank.
either way its still kind the same thing.
it all depends on whats in it. billet crank? lockup? override? what kind of carbs and pipes? how fresh is the build? with all the goddies, id say that not a bad deal as long as its in good shape. you couldnt build that for 4500 new most likley (unless you got badass hookups)
i have never seen or heard of a collapsable subframe. but yes you can most certailny cut th old sub off and replace it with a new one. draggers do it all the time. tyson and a few others in mich. do that all the time.
no the ball should not be welded to the rod or the adjuster. the rod and the ball go inside the drive shaft that you clutch mounts on.
do your self a favor and go buy a clymers. it will show you step by step on what to do

sorry bro but i have to shoot you down on this... burning oil makes carbon build up 100 times faster then gas ever will. there are more minerals and junk inside of the oil that wont fully burn off.
the game dropped on the 5th right? there was guys that beat it by the next day. given that they are gaming nerds and stayed up till all hours of the night, it still was short enough to beat over night.
