rather then going off what everyone is saying, get a caliper and messure it to be 100% sure. would suck really bad to start buyig parts and end up not being what you thought it was. plus any mechanic needs a caliper

Ok the rain isnt going to let up anytime soon so i snapped a few shots from inside my garage. dont mind the mess. I'll try and get some better picts once the sun come out. and of course once the build is complete. and i got all my shit chromed and a new seat cover... They did a little bleed over into the silver to help break up the same color so it wouldnt look so solid. Got some marble candy colors, and ome nice bright solids. the picts really dont do it justice! they look 10X's better in person.

a good weld is a good weld on a stocker or after market. it doesnt do anything to make the crank more powerful it just holds the pin in the webbing so it wont seperate. the hotrods welds are crap. you can send it to almost any builder and have it welded. most will charge 75 bucks or so

if the crank is in good shape then there is no reason to buy it used. as long as the rods bearing and everything are fine why not?

there is really no established number, but i would have even a bone stocker welded. its just cheap insurance to know the thing isnt going to seperate.

This guy in Fuking amazing!!! He hooked me up HUGE. Many of you know the bullshit I went through with this build. not sure if i got it right or not but i put 625^6x^2-5 its hard to understand what i put casue you cant type exponants....but 6x^2-5 is an exponant of 625.... i ended up getting an 80 on the test and a 91.66 in the overall class

same. it should have a spot to hold the puller so you dont need the strap wrench. but yes you can use a strap as well.
