  1. contact theshee on here. he painted my plastics and several other guys as well...
  2. a buddy of mine used a dul side of a kife and scrapped it off my old pipes. you just have to be careful not to scratch the crap out of the pipe. he said it came off really ez
  3. Paul Turner mids
  4. i think this was his tripple project that he doesnt have time for any more
  5. i use a level that has a meter stick on it.
  6. spell check is fine, but if he really has this much of a problem with it he needs to learn to spell things correctly on his own. if for any other reason his grades in school will reflect it.
  7. i dont have those but yes they are blrighter. look into trail techs also
  8. when you breakin a motor you should not give it more oil then what your running. it is nessessary for the metals to to seat properly. by giving it too much oil they tend to get less then desierable seating and this lowers your compression.
  9. your at 200 static compression? id leave the timing alone. that compression is very high if its accurate! advancing the timine will give you more bottom end at the sacrifice of top end. but with the compression your running your bottom end should be narley already
  10. depednig on what oil your running you should be mixing at 32:1 to 80:1... all oils are differant but 24:1 is way rich
  11. do you really have that hard of a time spelling? if so man at 15 you should be trying to get help! you should be well past that at your age. talk to your school counselor to get help. your going to kill your self in college.
  12. if you increas the timing and go to a smaller dowm your defeating the purpose. what is your compression? and what kind of fuel are you running. you without a dought need to be running race gas. by advancing the timing your just pushing the limits on detonation without race gas or high enough octane for that matter bepending what your compression is. with the size domes youve got advancing the timing +4 probly wont have much of an effect on the power.
  13. i have heard guys that have got news ones in without spliting, but if your pressed for time, do it right. you run the chance of screwing up your seal by not spliting the cases and then your just back at ground zero. you can get it all taken down and back together in one afternoon if you got the tools
  14. it depends on what kind of shocks you have, but your going to need to compress them a little to take the pressure off the plates. after that the bottom one will noramlly slide off (depending on what shock you have) and then you just pull the spring off. it sounds ez but your not going to compress those springs by hand. you are going to need the right tools, espically if you are getting them pc'd. once you try to rig it up to get it back together you will scrtach the piss out of that fresh pc
  15. no he isnt parting the whole bike, just the parts he will not be running on his new project. i thik he told me he was getting a 14mil????
  16. you wouldnt have to try hard at all. its the correct gearing, tire size and rubber stiffness, and few other things and it would pull high RPMs like any other 2stroke. Although tht doesnt mean that you would be getting any more useable power out of it.
  17. lol i kinda chuckled when i poted that pict and saw that...
  18. im not sure of the max RPM the banshee motor is capable of withstanding but i raced gokarts and we had 2stroke KT100 single cylinder motors that would hit 14-15k on the big nascar tracks allday long. im sure that a banshee motor could with stand at least that much edit: of course thats assuming you weld the crank and have quality bearings
  19. wow 5 swingers and this guy cant get his shit together?
  20. cooler does not always mean faster. There is ALWAYS an optimal temp for every motor to be at. Colder air can equal more power, but a colder motor does not below that motors point
  21. Dinner whats your name on DTR? i joined a few weeks ago when i was tryig to figure out ll the maintance shit for my truck. same name for me.
  22. oh dont get me wrong, it dosnt match correctly by any means but its close enough that looking at it you cant tell unless your looking for that reason
  23. actually mark you can put a bearing on the drum. i have one. got it from alba. they buy them from yakkey racing (sp?)
  24. my old lady was telling me to get black but i dont think it would go with my plastics. they are silver base with abunch of differant colors. on a candy blue frame with chrome. the black wouldnt match anything. i went with a blue that closly matched my frame but im scard its going to look retarded once i get it back. i guess ill see this week cause the guy will be done making it then.
