  1. Here's Angel on Arlo's triple.
  2. Fuck, I checked them again & they work for me. Someone else try or I'll try another route.
  3. Here's a nice pic of Angel on Arlo's monster. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151319315627461&set=a.10150911523332461.402795.705392460&type=1&theater

  6. Glad someone is happy!
  7. NHRA Rules.
  8. That's funny, but right!
  9. Thanks for posting up the picture & the nice comment. That's me in the sling, my short son (Angel) on the bike & the person to my left is my tall son (Justin).
  10. So far I found this prediction to be the closest. Our 1st 3 passes averaged 4.355 with a 1st pass of 4.716, 2nd pass 4.206 & 3rd 4.145. Dave was closer with his joking 4.20, but predicted a faster 3.84. The majority of us predicted way too fast. Where did you predict this number? I found no post about it. Our 1st three run average had a big stupid story related to it. It was mainly tied to the 1st run. When we set-up the sprockets, we were pretty drunk. We wanted to start with a 16/43 & found out we had 17/43. I have never had good results with working on shit & drinking. One of these days I will learn, but probably not. It was a killer prize of bragging rights in the HQ Circus. I doesn't get any better than that!
  11. That guess is about as good as your tuning skills!
  12. Now can anyone pin the quickest run, LOL? I'm not giving up the exact information, but I will say. It hasn't beaten our best time with 443cc gas Cub in a stock frame!
  13. The 1st thing I must say, is Great Job to Arlo (BigBucks) & Angel (Jockey) my Puerto Rico adopted Son. They won the Hammerdown race ($1,500) with a 3.37. My hat goes off to the both of them & they work excellent as team member's to accomplish the goal. http://www.facebook.com/BAKOSANDDRAGS Our specific new 10mm DMX/chassis results was: 2nd place in 576-650 limited 2 stroke, semi finals in 651-775 limited 2 stroke with Angel riding. In bracket we went 4 rds. with a slight miscalculation from the rider & 2nd place in Pro Index with my other Son Justin riding. I'm very proud of both of them. They did a very good job of racing a new combo, that had some tuning related issues (my fault). They took the results very well. Much better than I & reminded me it's a team effort, good or bad!
  14. I missed that one & Dave was kind of joking I think, with the 4.20. Anyway, I will post up the results soon. Looks like you may claim the booby prize.
  15. I'm going to start a new thread about the results of the 1st race/testing of the DMX. First off, we have a lot more testing to be done on this new combination. We have identified a few areas we need to address. Starting with the ones with highest priority. More compression, bigger carbs, dyno time, stay on race gas or go to alky, & my favorite; clutch work. I would be more than happy to discuss the reasons/priority of the list above. *NOTE* This post is subject to change in priority at any time in the future. LOL!
  16. I just got home a little while ago from the BAKO sand drags. I haven't done the math yet, but I would probably say. The 4.20 is pretty darn close "had too". It's probably going to be in the 4.teen range. I'll post it up when I time, within the next couple days or sooner. There's a little stupidity involved with the 1st 3 runs! I'll try & post the most appropriate information in the post & the DMX testing post.
  17. We will make the decision this Fri. or Sat. on the Gator Nationals. The bike needs to at least run in the 70s at Bako to consider Gilbert. That should put it in the 60s in LA. with a better track & 40 lb. lighter rider.
  18. Lets here about the HQ Member's that plan on attending any of these races or have attended. Last year was our 1st year for the Gator Nationals. We are undecided on the same race for this year. We will make the decision this Fri. or Sat. after running our new combo at BAKO.
  19. We work on getting the highest RPM we can for our 1/4 mile Banshee. We have reached 10,700 or 10,800 on our fastest runs. It takes a lot of work to make that happen.
  20. Right now you are on curve #1.
  21. When new, the dip switch box in you hand has a sticker that tells you the positions. If you use the #1 & #2 as the top position, this is how it works. Curve #1, both down. Curve #2, left one down/tight one up. Curve #3, left one up/right one down. Curve #4, both up.
