  1. So far its ATV Galaxy on EBAY. They are the same as elka direct, but they offer free UPS 2-day shipping. That saves about $30.
  2. Same price on EBAY
  3. Just like it says, I'm ordering Elka fronts today. I'm going with the FD-PB36C. They will have the piggyback resorvior with preload and compression adjustability. I'm a recreational dune rider so these will me plenty for me. Elkas normal price is $875.00 With the special directly from Elka (15% off) I'm getting them for $743.75 I know everyone says not to order from the manufacturer but they are the chepest I can find. Most dealers have the same or a more expensive price. Does anyone know of a cheaper price anywhere?
  4. Yep....I stripped, then broke one. I got a hex head bolt to go in one and cut the other bolt flush and welded over the hole.
  5. It doesn't keep the keeper in because I took the keeper off first! Wild sentence!!
  6. Anyone know the thread size/pitch of the bolts that hold the plate on?
  7. Sorry man...sold it to a buddy!
  8. I was wandering if the cover behind the clutch...see pic....is needed or usefull? It looks like it may restrict tranny fluid flow and divert the fluid over the the clutch? If removed wouldn't it flow better? Anyone ran a shee without it? http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp83/gr...20/DSCN0412.jpg
  9. Thanks for all the help everyone. Very surprisingly I managed to fix everything today.
  10. Only on BansheeHQ where people take care of you like this.
  11. I'll PM you
  12. Thanks for the replies..... I'm going to go ahead and split the cases, then turn the top case upside down and lock the stud in a vise really good and see if I can spin the top half case off the stud, being theres just one stud left it might work?.....If it doesn't work, I'm just going to get another set of cases.....I'm sure the torch method would work, but the way the weeks starting I'm liable to burn down the house. So I'm going to plan on buying cases and then if I have to I won't be surprised.
  13. Sorry...meant to say 10's for playing and 8's for dragging.......Since we are on the subject, have you ever seen this siz hauler....23x10.5x12.....here is the add... http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/mcy/910244754.html Next question is is it a good deal and will I have the power to turn them?
  14. After using the SEARCH I figured out what it is and what its used for. Any special way to get them out? Also any way to get the damn stripped stud out? Or just buy new cases....drain bolt stripped too...Bad week.
  15. It looks like some sort of sleeve on the bottome of the base cylinder studs. What is the circled part??? Do I need it, how do I get it out? Three of them are in the top case half and one in the cylinder. Also how do you remove a stripped stud? Click links to see pics. http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp83/gr...20/DSCN0390.jpg http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp83/gr...20/DSCN0392.jpg
  16. Unfortunately my wife has gotten very smart on the shee...no thanks to Bansheehq :: .....so she knows whats what. Besides this is a big jump from my previous set up---see sig----and with the jugs still on the 64mm bore there is tons of life left. When the jugs need resleeved I'll get the cub. Probably in 10 years when I get the 30 ft toy hauler and F350 she knows nothing about.
  17. Will +2+1 A-Arms move the lower shock mounts forward an inch? Maybe a stupid question?
  18. I have a new update to the decision....I'm getting both ....the 20X10X10 9 paddle hauler extremes and the 22x11x10 10 paddle haulers.......Decision came when the wife decided to donate me a grand to my build. I guess she got tired of me reading the clymers all night and watching nitro tates video. So, do you think this will be the best choice for drag and play?
  19. I got the Cascade thumb throttle extender today. The directions state that you DO NOT need the spring if the TORS are deactivated. Hope it helps someone out. It's a quality looking piece too!!
  20. I'm going to go crazy trying to figure this out. I already have the 10 inch rims so I'm stuck......either the 20X10X10 9 paddles or 22x11x10 10 paddle haulers? So it's blow off the 20's or not have enough motor to turn the 22's. Let's say no matter what I make the wrong decision.......can I change gearing enough to correct??
  21. Thanks everyone for the advice and help. I've decided to go with the 20x10x10 9 paddle skat trak hauler extremes. Hopefully the stronger will help plant the power better? If I blow them off, I'll go up to a 15 tooth front sprocket. Has anyone been able to tell a big difference in the extremes vs normal haulers?
  22. I figured this might help someone out. The rear brake line length with a + 4 swingarm with round housing style carrier is 23 inches from banjo to banjo. The front brake line length when running +2+1 a-arms and 2 lines directly off the master cylinder are 54 inches banjo to banjo. Hope this helps someone.
  23. Looks like some of the Raptor bumpers may fit a Banshee!? Does anyone know what other Yamaha bumpers will fit on a Banshee?
  24. Ok.....I'm a dumbass.......I already tossed the spring. Will it hurt not to run it, or should I stop being cheap and buy another spring? I've heard of others not running it, but I want to do it semi-right.
