  2. Thanks for all the help guys. From all the info gathered I don't know where to start. I do have a question though. What will the effects be if the jets are too samll or to big and same question for pilots? Also not going with the T-6's anymore going with the T-5s Also is there anyone here that rides in WA state. Preferably capital forrest/rock candy?
  3. Ok, from the information I've gathered. I should go with 320 mains and keep the need clip in the stock position. As far as the pilots I am confused. From the banshee jetting faq I should go up 2 sizes on the pilots. The stock pilot sizes are 25 right. So I should be at 30. Some people are saying 20 and to me that is backwards. I'm new at this and I'm not saying people are wrong, I just don't want to buy 8 sets of pilots and 8 sets of mains. Any more guidance?
  4. I'm new to doing this my self just wanted to make sure I'm on the right page. I read up on Banshee HQ about the jetting sizes for mods first and this is what I came up with for my mods. Bone stock Banshee. I'm adding k&N filter with outerwear in the box and I'm keeping the lid on. The lid is vented. The snorkel is removed. Also adding Toomey T-6's. My pre-mix ratio is 40:1. My elevation is at sea level. (WA state) Temperature is between 50 and 80 degrees. Humidity is not that high. The sizes I came up with are; Main jets 340, pilot 30, and keep needle clip in stock position and adjust air screws. What do you guys think? Am I close or way off? Thanks in advance.
  5. It all started today. I went to rock candy/capital forest to get a good ride in before I go on vacation. Me and my buddy. 2 shees. My 05 and his 06. Both are bone stock. Mine is just broken in really good. We get there and unload out of the van and this guy runs over and is like cool another banshee someone that can keep up with me. He has a banshee too. I see he has pipes but didn't get the close up. Me being me I was like you want to run them to check out the difference. He starts laughing and walks over to my shee and is like you don't even have piepes. I was like you running them or what. He said sure I'll beat you for fun. While my shee is warming up I look at his shee and felt like slapping this guy. He had some procircuit headers and FMF silencers fabricated together some kind of way. And he had like 5 lbs of pressure in each tire. He's looking like a first time rider and just going on and on in my ear talking shit. Telling me hes got like 2 grand in parts in his bike. So mines warm and we go to the part where we are going to race. I told him not to say go just take off and I'll catch up. He takes off spinning and sliding every where. I take off in 2nd gear and I'm only running 2lbs pressure in each tire because they are slick. I get beside him at the top of 3rd then go to 4th with a wheelie through 5th. I ride it out about another 100 yards. He's not even behind me . So I sit there and wait. I even turned it off to see if I could here him. Then he finally shows. He says nothing and I just look at him. So I ask what size jets he has. Said he didn't rejet because his brother put the bike together for him and was a master builder. I took off my helmet and told him that he and his brother have no respect for the shee much less the power and potential it has. All he says is I'll be back and that I got some work done to mine and just kept the stockers on for a sleeper shee. I said nope, I took all the stickers off and it gave me another 20hp. Fired her up kicked up the dust on his shee when I left. When I got back to where I parked my budy asked what happened. I said it wasn't worth talking about. The the guy pulls up loads up his shee and hauls ass. My buddy asks was it that bad. I said No respect and no brains. I just wanted to see the power and performance difference. Then he pissed me off so I had to defend myself and my shee. Then we rode the rest of the day until the rain. What an idiot.

    I need a set of handlebars that anyone is trying to get rid of or just the handlebar cross bar? PM Got the parts on the way the mail from another member. Thanks though.
  7. I know alot of you guys out there probably have these. I need a set of stock silencers/spark arresters if someone has them laying around.Mainly just the tips. Mine are all bent and scarred up from doing mile long wheelies. Anyway, preferrably someone on the west coast. Send me a price and pic if you can and I'll get back to you.
