  1. so if i understand this correctly you guys are saying that v force reeds (at $190-$250) are not worth it for trail, mx and dune port motors below 400cc. and they might be worth it if you have an agressive port job and a 40cc+ motor? did i read this thread right or would someone like to correct me.
  2. i dont know of any mud fests in palm beach. the closest thing i know of is l-cross. you can see it at l-cross.com i go there often. lots of t&a, espicaly at the adult events.
  3. what atv bash is this? i never heard of such a thing.
  4. m in palm beach. i ride at lcross a lot. its not really meant for sport quads since its mostly mud. so i stay on the edges of the mud. really, i just go for the titties haha. i am going to start rag racing at moroso motorssports park, if anyone wants to come up and run with meh. my banshee wont be running for another 2 weeks or so. but after that i am down for some serious riding. we should plan out another ocala or croom trip.
  5. still looking for cpi small bore pipes. let me know what you got. dont have the money to buy new.
  6. stock banshee stator is single phase. is this aftermarket electric stator 3 phase? i guess it would work fine if you ran the 3 phases to a bridge rectifier and a cap to smooth the ripple out.
  7. i had this problem. delete all cookies in youre internet browser and then log into bhq again. that worked for me.
  8. that gearing calculator is fucked. i appreciate the work they did but they dont take into account the rear tyres on quads baloon up at high speeds. its 15mph off reality for my own bike.
  9. as long as the package isnt oversize most shipping company do not charge extra for different size packages. like fedex for example, you can ship out a 24x24x24 box that weighs 15lbs for the same price as a 12x12x24 that weighs 15lbs.
  10. i dont know if the stock reeds would work with ported cages. the stock reeds are tiny and only overlap by half a mm or so. that leaves basically no room for porting. i have a set of stock reeds and cages right on my desk and there is no room for improvement that i can see. with that said. porting reed cages is a black art. anyone can do it in 3 minutes,. but if you want cages that actually perform better than stock be prepared to spend at least an hour or 2 on each cage. thats what i have seen from people who rally know their shit. macdizzy.com has a lot of info in their forums on porting stock rd rz and banshee cages.
  11. you dont need to shrink wrap tyres. just strap them together. they are fuckin tyres its not like they are going to get hurt of someone drops them. this is how tyrerack ships tyres. they just strap them together and stick a shipping label on the tread. no shrink wrap no boxes. but yeah you should use fedex ground. its cheap as fuck compared to ups or usps.
  12. one of the best upgrades for a banshee. i change my oil all the damn time and that magnetic drain plug is always full of ferrous shavings. id hate to have that junk floating around the gears and the ball bearings.
  13. welcome. remember to update the thread when youre results.
  14. thanks man. i appreciate honest posts like that. and yes the burns suck! my legs are all scarred from these fuckin t5's. cant imagine how much worse its going to be with some of those watermellon sized cpi's.
  15. how about american racer tyres? i just picked up a used set for half the cost of new. claims to have only a handful of passes on them. they are on douglas wheels. they are 18x10-10. is this too much tyre for a stock port banshee? what sprockets yall think i should be runnin for 1/8th and 1/4?
  16. i have heard the fzr1000 fibers are wide like that. might want to tr those. go to the yamaha dealer and have a tech pull up the yamaha part number 4H7-16321-02-00 bring youre old fibers in to compare them.
  17. still looking to trade. ill even add some cash to even up the deal. come on people.
  18. if it doesnt work out with tex hit me up i have a nice set of t5's polished up and everything. includes a hush kit too. ill even give you extra cash.
  19. i dont have a dedicated drag bike so id like to go with cpi. i have rode a bike with shearers before and they are too much pipe for my needs. whatever it is, i need small bore pipes. i am willing to entertain the thought of some out of frames but they would have to be cheap. the reason is because i really need in frames so i can dune with them. out of frames would be a handicap on the dunes so i would have to get some cheap to make up for it. thanks.
  20. looking for a set of small bore cpi's. tell me what you have.
  21. i have t5's now. they are great. but im looking for a little more top end. willing to sacrifice some midrange here. would a set of cpi's be too drastic?
  22. post up what ya got, with good detailed pics if you can. you must have a good reputation on bansheehq in order for me to do buisness with you. i wont buy parts from new people or ones with low post count. looking for a set of cpi small bore inframes for a 370 long rod dune port motor.
  23. do these things work good? how wide it the roller? from the pic it seems no woder than a skateboard wheel. does the chain ever slip off the side of the wheel? seems like it would, but ive got no expierence with one.
