a banshee is a classic. go with the black and blue yamaha classic colours.

no worries about being new. everyone was new to 2 strokes at one time or another. personally i think you never stop learning. just do me and youreself a favour and dont run anything but that 110 untill you get a positive conformation that you can run a lesser octane gas. if youre engine is setup close to the limit for 110 it would destroy its self on 91 or 93. so untill you get a conformation play it safe and use the 110.

grab a hush kit. when youre done sell it on ebay and you can get back 95% of the inital cost.

that sure looks purdy. i dont know about intake length concerning banshees in detail but i can tell you that on 2 stroke shifter karts it seems like everyone runs the intake as short as possible. actually ive seen alot of guys mount the carb directly to the reed cage and eliminate the intake entirely. also it seems like alot of 2 stroke shifter carts run a 6-8 inch intake manifold between the carb and the air filter. i guess they get something out of it. ive seen quite a few banshees with long runners between the filters and the carbs. looks like they also use 6-8 inches. maybe you should play around with that?

whats youre cylinder dome size, and how many psi are you getting when you test the compression. side note: youre running t6's with drag porting? i thought those 2 items were incompatible?

i dont doubt that a proper lt500 would hand me my pants. but this thing was a hack job.

we ran 3 times back to back and i beat him 2 out of the 3 times. his lt500 has a crappy homemade port job. i found out he ported it with a dremel and various hand files. if i had to guess id say the shitty porting on his quad is what led me to victory. i think he handicapped himself.

thanks guys. i ended up selling the waveventure for a grand. not a bad deal! i think the wave venture was too tame for me anyways. im going to look for a pair of waveblaster's. those seem to be more of a sport type pwc. ill look into getting the waveblasters posted and throw a pipe on them. should be more fun with less weight.

i cant find the link to the review i originally saw, however with a little creative googling i did find a bluetraxx review of the noss head. although this bluetraxx review is not the one i originally saw it is interesting none the less that they also mention a 10 degree drop. coincidence? maybe. heres a quote "We are very pleased with the performance gain, but does it cool better? Well after the 10 minute ride we recorded the engine temperature from our gauge and compared it to the same exact warm-up and 10 minute ride test with our stock head and noticed a 10 degree drop in engine temperature. We did not see a 55 degree reduction, but this was just a quick post-installtion test, and we plan on doing more accurate tests in the future." ill take that anecdotal evidence with a grain of salt. it is bluetraxx afterall :yankyank: , and i dont see how they can only use a product for 10 minutes and then make a review on it.

you shouldnt get an aftermarket head just because of the cooling. i read a review of this head on an atv website and the most they could get out of with real world riding was 10 degrees. it rean 10 degrees cooler than a stock head. thats not much if you think about it.

i went up against a 450 with some really sick mods and were dead even. after the 1/8th we just kept running because we wanted to see whos quad was faster. we got to the point where neither of us were accelerating anymore and we were still even. it was crazy. he finally lifted up first though.

i know i dont have much done to my shee for 1/8 mile hardpack sand dragging (as you can see from my signature) however i can swap back to a 14t front sprocket if you guys think it would improve my chances. im up against a friend of mine with a suzuki lt500. i do know that for aftermarket mods he has a pipe, pod filters, crappy homemade porting of the cylinder, and probably equally crappy jetting. he also has an aftermarket high compression head. the rest is stock. so if you had to bet, who would win?

i dont know what youre intentions are but i doubt youll gain much going to an aftermarket head. have a look at youre compression and post back.

i am buying a 97 yamaha waveventure 760 with trailer for $100. the reason it is so cheap is because 1 cylinder has low compression. i plan on rebuilding the engine myself however i would like to send the cylinders out to get ported and bore up to the next size but truthfully i dont know of anyone who ports pwc's. i know that amlost any machine shop can bore, but who ports these things? anyone? also does anymore make aftermarket pipes for pwc's? id love to put a pair of pipes on this thing.

you need the driver and motorola support tools and motorola phone tools. you can google those items to find them. or check a file sharing app.

ive heard of people using kitchen ovens. perhaps you could find a large used oven from a bakery.

i i bought mine off my neighbor in the mid 90's. i almost crashed so many times. it was really fast because my neighbor had done all these trick hopups to it sence he use to race it. so i got to ride it around for a few days and then some bastard stole it. i quit banshees and 4 wheelers in general untill 10 years later, a few months ago i went out and bought a new banshee.

throwing all the bullshit god talk aside, i just helped some friends through a similar situation. they are a very young couple. she got pregnant. and the guy thought he would do the right thing and marry her. they are too young to have kids. the girl isnt even old enough to legally drink. they dont make or save enough money to afford a baby. wreckless irrespopnsible drug users. the baby would be miserable and have a tramatic life. i tried from the begenning to convence them to abort . they wanted to keep it. my reasoning was that the kid wouldnt be happy living like bums in poverty and aborting would save him from a life of misery. i didnt think they should give the kid up for adoption because i dont think its worth it to carry a child just to give it away. the girl spend 9 months getting fat and getting perminant stretchmarks all over her torso that never go away. no sex during the later months and thousand are spent on hospital bills for the birth and she goes into painfull labour for hours all for some kid who she will never see again. so now that the kid is born, the dad notices that the kid doesnt look anything like him. infact he dont even resemble his own race. oh shit it looks like the wife cheated. man can you say drama. im just glad im the same race as him because i did his wife before so i know its not mine., hell i think every male i know has done her atleast once. i know shes fucked a few females too. ive seen the videos.
