  1. Thanks for all the replies guys. I guess I'm going to check out ebay first and look for a good deal on a Snap-on, and look into Mac and Matco also. I'm willing to spend $100 to maybe $140 for one. But I found a Craftsman set for $59.99 with hoses, adapters, a case and all Should I get it? You guys don't think that would be good enough? I mean I'm not running a shop here...lol Thanks -Ryan
  2. Thanks for the reply  ...but I'm looking for a little better quality than one from Harbor Freight.
  3. Well, I'm tired of barrowing a friend
  4. Did you re-jet?
  5. So how was Bull Gap? Lot of people there? Have they done anything about the whoops yet? The tracks are pretty cool, bet they would be fun in the snow.
  6. Dave at Noss machine sells aluminium K&N airbox adapters with or without the K&N. http://www.nossmachine.com/yamaha_banshee_parts.htm
  7. I now have a similar noise coming from mine and I don't have a lockup. Let me know what you find out. I'm afraid its my crank or a failed bearing even though I just had it T&W'd last winter and put new bearings on including a TZ on the clutch side. IDK...I'm pretty damn disappointed...I mean it runs fine, it just makes that damn rattle noise at idle like yours just not quit as loud...but seems to be getting worse. I was hoping to get more than a half of a season of riding before having to tear it down again
  8. Yes 20lbs, but work up to that in 5lb increments in the same 1-10 torque pattern as on the stock head.
  9. Don't have any problems with mine...I got them directly from Motion Pro. Clutch pulls much smoother than when I had the stocker.
  10. Not again...at least untill they fix it Bull Gap Memorial Weekend09
  11. Nice piece  good job
  12. Well, mine aren't ProCircuits nor were they as bad as yours, but I was looking to clean up my pipes and remove some blueing and Sheefreak turned me on to this shit called Blue Away from the Eastwood company and it works pretty damn good. left one done - right one not yet
  13. I like free stuff too!

  16. yes...well kind of... I put a sheet of light sandpaper down in a flat surface and do figure eights with the steels. Couple light passes on each side does the trick.
  17. Few reasons really...primarily because of the people I camp and ride with. It
  18. I'm waiting to go until after the 4th of July.
  19. Clean your wrist pin bearings up, take your new pin out, put a little premix oil on them and slide them into a rod end. Spin the pin around with your fingers. If it feels smooth with no binding whatsoever, and doesn't feel sloppy...then you should be good to go.
  20. Kinda makes sense...Fattys have more low end than Trinitys, but with a bump in compression you should have slightly made up for the loss in low end grunt. So really all you should see is a little more top end and over rev from the different pipes. With higher comp and octane, have you added a little timming? btw - with comp of 160 you can probably get away with just premium or a 50/50 mix of premium and racing fuel...other wise you're just wasting money.
  21. Why would I give you all of my good ideas? :verymad: haha j/k I am an unemployed automobile Designer ya know, I need $$$$!
  22. Hey Kodie, I can't do the Tires and Rims man, so go ahead and sell them if you haven't already. I planed on spiting them with a friend of mine and One day he wants to spend money on his quad and the next he wants to sell it. He is becoming a pain in my ass lol especially when making plans for riding trips...going - not going - going...make up your damn mind! :: lol I'm sure we all have those friends. Things may change, but I doubt it. Thanks anyway Ryan
