use a die grinder with a small grinding bit and cut through the bearing cage from top to bottom in two places opposite each other then break it apart with a chisle and hammer. be carefull not to grind into the swingarm where the bearings ride. without air tools a haksaw maybe
i tried using a long screwdriver and an extension to reach through and hammer it out but the lip of the cage is so small it just slips off. but have heard of other people having luck with this technique
yeah sucks i didnt meet any of yous guys there. we were there with the girls so i was teaching most of the time. got a good long ride friday went all around the dunes to devils , choke cherry and came back through the deep shit.. lots of fun. spent all day sat in rexburg went to a movie and just burned up the day. weather coulda been better but i happy with the trip.
worst part is we leave there sunday evening fuc*ing HAIL and snowstorms in west yellowstone. get into minnesota its been at least 90 the whole time im gone set a record 96 on sunday wtf
planning on going back late july early august
hmm only in those gears? wierd i doubt its a carb issue but im not all that experienced with banshees if its missing id think id probably be electrical jetting would have to be way off to be missing and youd notice that in other dears too.
maybe pull off stator cover and take a wire brush to the pickup and blow out any debris inthere
its geting close i leave in 6 days!!! do i need to run a license plate there? look for the all white crf450 and mismatched banshee didnt get new plastics in time.
when is the sand not great?! ITS F*CKING GLAMIS!!
last i was there i think there is like a glamis dunes paper or something but its got ads for a place that rents. i think there might be an ad for it in the cycle trader.
not to start a shoulda, coulda, woulda but if i have a bike or quad in my truck i always back up to a building real close or light post other car wahtever will make it impossable for a single guy to unload.
preferance is all. i like twist on bikes (only way ive ridden them) thumb on quad(only way ive ridden them) id say that a twist is easier to controll than a thumb because you have your whole arm to controll it ranther than one tiny finger.
plus stock is cheaper
i learned to ride on an 85cr80 that was burning case oil. talk about lag..... idle idle idle idle idle idle redline. what a fun way to learn how hard trees really are
im about to try and get my girlly riding. have fun
shitty. just know that eventually they will get theirs.maybe a banshee will flip on em break his neck he'll be arrested youl get your shee and then you can beat up a quadrapalegic. does your work have any cameras? does the intersection have any cameras? i guarantee they didnt ride it away so their vehicle was there while it was done. put up posters at the intersection and someone who commutes at that time may have seen it done?
hmm the splines are junk on the output shaft of tranny or clutch is fried? ive never seen a chain "slip" ive seen em jump a tooth
good luck with whatever you do iguess
im at 11/41 going to try stock at st anthony se how itll work. i didnt put on the 11 it came that way supposedly cause it has 22s wtf.
how much harder is higher gearing on clutches??
stock motor should i expect any problems?
easier if tank nearly empty of course then its less heavy...
problem with removing bed is its heavy too. unless you havea swingarm hoist. and the bolts come out real hard sometimes specially on older stuff
easier still if you just cut a hole in the bed.
sit on the wheeler and reach down to about the middle of the swingarm and grad teh top side of teh chain should be about 1-1.5 inches of movement
im guessin thats what i do on bikes
**do this not running**
check your pms
bought an axle good dealing with him. good contact, overall good seller. supposed to ship fri ship tues instead. not major problem
apparantly he cares more about his wife giving birth than shipping parts to me
