  6. not going to fit without extensive frame mods. i was going to try putting an 04 r6 motor in a banshee but the motor is too tall. if the oil pan is within an inch of the bottom of the frame the head sits almost as high as the gas tank. locogatos cbr600rr raptor frame wasnt modified nearly as much as the banshee frame would ned to be
  7. i recently went through and sandblasted and painted my frame and arms. i put three coats and three coats of clear. it chips pretty easily. but the primer wont chip off. if i were to do it again id get it powder coated for sure. my thinking was "itll look good for a couple years then ill blast and powder coat". but the amount of effort in removing all bearings and sandblasting makes me not want to eff with it for a long time. pc is the only way i say
  8. ttt open to offers (within reason) open to trades or partial trades+$ open to trades +$ for you hey phx450 im going to glamis for thanksgiving ill be coming through az on the 23 or 24. also going through iowa, kansas, oklahoma, texas, new mexico

  10. i trust foam its your choice. my shee i just use one and keep a spare clean, swap and clean. dont know if you can get them to fit pod filters but for my dirtbike PC racing makes skins which stretch over the airfilter work nice. oil them up ride a day take it off ride 1more. i clean with aerosol non-clorinated brake cleaner, evaporates fast as hell. carefull it disolves most plastic and rubber. always remove carbs and clean away from the intake.
  11. trying to post pics can someone help i can email pics if you want em asking about 2800

  13. whats it take to get this douche kicked off? every thread of his is a worthless question that has been answered a dozen times and none of his replys are even on topic. im sure im not the only one who feels this way. if i send in $5 will you ban him?
  14. first diesels need like 400-450 psi compression take the head off the banshee and cut like 1/2 inch off the bottom. (hacksaw works great). since you want high compression dont use a gasket and tighten the nuts untill they start to get a little loose again. second diesels dont need spark plugs so take them out and run fuel lines to the plug holes. dont use anything big like 7/16 i.d. should be about right fuel flow. then you need to take your carbs and drill holes in the slide cause diesels dont need a throttle to close off airflow they just suck in however much they need. and your set. i did this on my shee and its got lots of torq like a diesel but it doesnt rev as high so its good for trails. like someone said earlier you will need to pull start it behind a car
  15. use it or dont personal preferance. i relocated mine up front with a piece of sheet metal and some rivits. 10min +$0.
  16. where in redwing? im in minneapolis ill come down to check it out
  17. i have a set of very nice condition 20x11x8 extremes (on douglas black label i believe) that i would like to trade +$$ maybe for a pair of 10 or 12 padle tires. 10 rippers or 12 padle haulers, extremes etc.. my tires hold air perfectly and yours should too. i can send pics if interested. stock banshee bolt patern. just checkin whats around
  18. if the frame is extended infront of the motor how would this affect the needed swingarm length? you should be able to get similar traction with a shorter swingarm and extended frame vs longer swingarm stock frame. right?
  19. what thickness of aluminum was used on the swingarm?
  20. so paddle height is pretty similar only rippers are stronger than extremes which are stronger than haulers? right
  21. how much do you want for it and is it clean title?
