  1. Standup guy, traded some stuff with him, no worries at all! Definately would deal with him again.
  2. Anybody runnin' these? Don't know where to start.
  3. Happy birfday!!!
  4. Ok, I picked up a set of 28mm Keihins, and I need to jet them for my setup. It's mostly stock, but I heard these carbs will really wake it up. Pretty much my mods are PT Mids, UNI filter in the stock box with lid but no snorkel, Boyesen Reeds, +4 Timing, and that's really it. I'm at basically sea level and my temps are 50-70*. I've messed around with the stock Mikunis a lot, but I don't even know where to start on these guys. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Elka's

Got my Elkas from Wasburn, Buchanan Racing, too. Standup guy, and super easy to deal with! Just wish I could get this bike finished so I can mount them.
  6. Nice! You probably won't want the G-Force hubs and axle, that ass end will be wide as hell. The hubs are extended, and meant to be a cheaper way to widen the bike. I personally wouldn't do both. PT MIds are great pipe too, they have a shit ton of low end, don't expect too much up top though, but that's all I would ever run on a trail bike. Worth every penny of the $600.
  7. He's a standup guy, I've bought a ton of stuff off of him, and also sold him a few things. No worries there at all.
  8. Their customer service is "the suck". Cool picture though, I wasn't knockin that, seein Banshees roost makes me wet in the shorts.
  9. Your call, 80 bucks is 80 bucks though. I must have got the last G-Force they had, just got mine last week.
  10. Beat me to it! I was just about to post this up before I saw it, I just ordered stuff last month, but it looks like I'll have to find some more stuff to order.
  11. Gots da PM, sents a one back, transaction pending.
  12. Hmmmmm. I'm not familiar with cubs, but it is perfectly fine to powdercoat stockers, and I don't see how the cubs would be any different. As long as the coater is careful, and tapes everythign off they are supposed to, I don't see how it could be a problem. As said above, EGTs are well above 1500*. Like I said, I don't have any experience with cubs though.
  13. Anyone need a factory clutch cover? It's the whole thing minus all bearings, seals and covers. I bought a direct drive one, and swapped everything into it, so I don't need this. It is in ok shape, no cracks or leak, but the paint is worn from the shifter, and it could probably use a good PC. I don't know what it's worth, so shoot me an offer, I can grab pics if need be.
  14. Ok, so I finally got my frame stripped, cut and grinded, and I'm getting ready to gusset it. But, I went to gusset the steering hoop, and I know it's bent down. The paint is chipped and the IMS tank I had on there didn't clear the steering stem right. So, I guess I was wondering, when yall bend the hoop back, is there a measurement, or spot you should look at to stop bending it. Or is there a technique that works really good. I don't want to bend it too far or not far enough, because once it's gussetted it's staying. As always thanks, Jay
  15. Cubs in trails, shit you mean you aint gonna trail ride that purty shee your buildin in your sig? :yelrotflmao: I only got half way through the original post before my head started hurting. Good one dude
  16. Well, guess I'll roost some more, we all now the deal with Alba.
  17. Yo, got a pic of the dogbone? I'll take it pending a pic. Bump for a good seller! Dealt with him in the past, standup guy!
  18. Sounds like a sweet deal for someone. I'm willing to bet that he's in the northeast.
  19. NJ is a full service state, probably the only one left. So you just pull up and they do everything for you. I don't even get out my pickup.
  20. I didn't when I did mine. I just used either a deep socket or an extension(either wil work) on a rachet, and pulled 'em out, and then threw the new ones in.
  21. Terrey Cable dual gasser! Best of both worlds, it's a twist and a thumb, both are hella nice too, got one for my build.
  22. Wow, the stearlership is the only place I can think of. Your talking about the castle ntus that hold the hubs to the axle right? Last time I checked they wre like $4-$5 each.
  23. I have a few ones here, they are rusty, but they work. Honestly you would probably be way better off just buying an FMF set of rings and springs. It's 2 exhaust o-rings and 2 springs. If I remember right it was only like $15. Probably a good idea just to buy the whole setup. By the time I got done shipping one it would probably be $5 anyway.
  24. What do you need, just piston rings and rebore? Lowe compression? I'd help ya take it apart and put it back together for a cse of beer or 2, but youd have to find someone to do the actual bore.
