Can't any body just kick back and so" that's pretty inetresting" why the perpetual squabble on the HQ? I think it's pretty cool, I would love to see a new 2 stroke bike, while the odds seem very slim, you never know what the manufactirers have up their sleeve. I like to see stuff like this.

Ok, I have an LSR -1 swinger that I was going to have PCed. I went out to take a look at it today, and it almost looks like it has wrist bearings in the front where it would bolt to the frame. There is one at either end of the tube, and there is almost no spacing behind them to get a drift pin or punch in. I tried and could not get them out. SO, I was wondering, as long as I clean out all of the grease as best I can, do you think it will be ok to PC with them in? It looks like there is only metal, no plastic in them, so I would think it would be ok, but I was wondering what you guys think? As always, thanks :beer:

Im assuming your talking about the full exhaust system, and then Paul Turner(by Duncan) makes the High Revs and the Mid Ranges. The Mid Ranges really give a shit ton of low end with some mid range, while the high revs are mostly a mid range pipe with some top end. I have a mid range set but havent run them, from what I hear they make for a sick trail setup. And the mufflers you would use with these would be the PT Fat Boy 2s. Heres one of mine that was PCed, just for refernce, I think they are by far the craziest looking banshee pipes.

They do stock or aftermarket stuff? I use Rocky Mountain for all my aftermarket stuff, but I do go to the stealer for my oil, and stock stuff. I am good friends with the guy at the parts counter, I bought my R1 from him, so that always helps.

I second that. I am by no means mechanically inclined, and I can do basically everything myself. Theres no reason to pay a mechanic when it's all stuff that you can do yourself, unless of course you have a ton of cash.

Just like the title says, need a good rear brake caliper. Doesnt matter if the pads are good or not, or what it looks like, as long as its not trashed. Hit me up....

Like John said, you need to find you a good builder, and go with that, most shops do one stop shopping, and they will be able to sell you everything. Generally you need to have porting done once you do a stroker, either that or s spacer plat, goes between the cylinder and bottom end, so that the port timings will be right with the longer stroke. Also, you will need specially cut domes, but you can use a regular cool head though, the size is up to you, and what kind of compression you wanna make.
