  1. I ran a set of works shocks without rezzies on my bike for 4+ years, and I ride about maybe 6-8 weekends out of the year,(240-320 hours total) on just trails. I thought I needed them rebuilt, sent them back to works, and I was told they were fine. So I bought Elkas without rezzies for my build bike, and I would be happy to get the same amount out of them. I would have bought the rezzies but they added a shit ton of money on top of what I allready had to spend. On the rear shock I would say you definately need a rez because it is one shock doing all of the work, but in the front, for an average rider, I would say no, you probably don't need them up front, but from what I hear they are nice to have. I mean there are people out there riding stockers from 96, so anything is better then that.
  2. Check that, and make sure you didn't switch the carb bowls from side to side, they are unique. That happened to me, and it was a bitch and a half to figure out. Also, check and make sure the tube that runs from the chocke on one carb to the other is still there.
  3. Try planetsand, don't like goin over there much, but I just bought spindes and that's the only place I could find them. They are even hard to come by on flea-bay.
  4. Ohhhhh, ok, I don't run them on either of my bikes, it's mainly to keep a stick, rock, or other shit from coming up and getting stuck in the front rotor and caliper. I have YFZ calipers on my one bike, so I couldnt use the inner one, and I never liked the way the outer one looked, so I just ditched them, never had a problem.
  5. Damn, just did like my 6th set of front hub bearings here, hahaha, bring'em to me and I'll do 'em for you for a case of beer. Alternatively, find a small brass punch, and work your way around the first bearing from the inside, it's a little tedious, but you should have a little bit of play in the spacer, enough to just catch the lip of the bearing with the punch. The brass punch won't damage the spacer, but for $35 on e-bay you can buy all front bearings, seals, and the back 2 carrier bearings and seals as well. You can also buy the bearing puller they talk about in the Clymer manual, but I'm not sure how much it costs or where to get it. Good luck bro!
  6. Sold, thanks guys!
  7. Ring wheel? Never heard of it. Also, not sure what you mean by cover plate, if it's the clutch cover insert your talking about, no you don't but it doesnt look right without it.
  8. Awww dude, i hate dirtfoot!!!!!
  9. It is worn, but for $75 for a $200+ basket you could file it down, or send it back to Hinson, I'd do it myself if I had the time and wasn't putting back together 2 bikes.
  10. Bump for ya dude, if I had that bike I'd be passin' it down to my grandkids.
  11. Usually carry extra plugs, and 2 small adjustable wrenches. And just like above, plenty o zip ties. The adjustable wrenches work really well in place of a shit load of sockets. Try an usually pack light though.
  12. I had SSTs, and now I run the older adjustable LRDs, I like the LRDS way better, lots more low end when adjusted out, better sound, and way smoother hit. The SSTs werent bad, they just hit a little too high for me. I have my old SSTs and silencers for sale if you want some, need some paint, but I only want $100 shipped.
  13. Just my .02 but if the bike runs and idles good, I wouldn't screw with the carbs just for needles, they won't make that big of a difference. I never rode a bike before and after with just needles changed though.
  14. Anywhere in NJ? I have a few you can have, just don't feel like shipping.
  15. Ohhh, thought you meant the bushings. Can't help you out on there. Good luck.
  16. Thanks for the offer, I need a newer a-arm style set though. If you do sell the spindles off the newer bike, hit me up. Bump.
  17. Bump, will NOT split up.

    A-Arm Spindles

Anybody got an extra set of good straight spindles? I'll buy 'em or if you need any kinda stock parts, I have a ton of crap I could trade. Lemme know, Jay
  19. I have some plastic mod quad ones, brand new, how many you need? Make an offer shipped.
  20. Turn Ons: Straight (or bi) chicks that drive trucks. Turn Offs: High maintenane chicks (i'd buy another banshee before I got with one of these)
  21. Never ridden one, but I have wanted to put one together for a long long time. Some of the parts like the pipe adapters and electronics are tough to get a hold of. I almost bought the one that Matt96shee bought, but I backed out at the last minute. Big regeret. If your interested in selling one of those engines, hit me up, might make for a good next winter project. Ohh, forgot to add you'll also need special pipes so they clear the powervalves. PT mids are what most guys run. Jay
