  1. Does anyone know who makes the 2" swingarm extension brackets that connect between the swingarm and the carrier? I remember seeing them in Dirtwheels back in the day but haven't seen them lately. I want to get them for my girl's Blaster. She's not as much as a jumper then she is a hillclimber and everyone knows how the Blaster likes to wheelie. Any info. is appreciated. Thanks.
  2. I'm +1 on the crank and use 1st gear on street and 2nd on dirt and sand. Works good for me. It does put 1st gear roughly in between stock 1st and 2nd. Good luck.
  3. Add some tires to that wish list and may your dreams come true. Bolt it on and take off and blow their slip-ons off. Good luck.
  4. For around $320, if he did it himself, he could get a cam and hi-comp piston which would give him a whopping 9hp. With your mods, fresh tires, gearing and strong clutch, you should be fine. Race his ass. It's only a race. Your main concern is to leave first. Good luck.
  5. Hey meat. Loved your website. Used to spend hours in the photo gallery and check out everyone's Shee. You had some good tech info that I used also. Just wanted to say thanks. Also the strippens and coal hill looked like a cool place to ride. Maybe i'll take the trip also. Thanks again.
  6. Great info about the screens. I gotta check mine. Also, you have to remember fuel evaporates fast. When turning off the fuel, the fuel in the carbs can evaporate. That is why it takes longer to start up because you have to "kick" your fuel back into the carbs and into the cylinders to start. On the flip side, turning off the fuel only allows a small amout of fuel to evaporate in the bowls. Allowing the bowls to constantly top off by leaving the fuel on over time will allow mix oil and fuel additives that don't evaporate to collect in the carbs. I don't mind a few extra kicks to start my Shee for clean carbs. Good luck.
  7. What do ya think of this guage!!! http://www.jtatv.com/atv.htm
  8. tomtunas, sent you a PM.
  9. Aight then, I rollin to Millville this weekend. Definately wanna meet up with you guys at Manchester still. ellison445, you get my PM about Manchester??? Later.
  10. My guess for stock would be to max out the preload on the front shocks and for the rear, max out the comp. and go 3/4 loose on the rebound. The rebound is the knob at the base of the shock. I didn't know that till 3 years after I owned my Banshee. Good luck.
  11. Aight I got a piped TRX450 and a single carbed Banshee ready to get it in. This weekend looks mint. Anybody a definite?
  12. Dirty south jersey here. Haven't rode there in 2 years. Ready to get it in. Couple of Banshee's and some 450's with me. The only issue I have is parking. I had a bad experience last time I was there (fines), but i'm definately down to go. PM.
  13. Run straight 101 and throw in a little timing (+4') and you'll be mint.
  14. Aww yeah, 916 posse here. Sorry I have no useful info to post. Good luck.
  15. Awww man! That girl above sure knows how to treat a banana.
  16. The tabs work. Why mess up a good thing?
  17. People from the west coast must be eating dinner?
  18. My buddy had a 1/4 twist on his shee when he bought it. All he had done was pipes and we thought it sucked. Too touchy and hard to control in tight woods trails.
  19. Kinda not what you're looking for but badass. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/viewLarger...x_3_car_tit.jpg I got it for Christmas from my fiance. It is super light and I can hear alot better with this helmet then my MSR. Good luck.
  20. Was wondering how much of a compression increase would you get from a milled head? Also, my buddy had 85psi with a Cool Head with 21cc domes at sea level and it still ran fine. He rebuilt it soon after. Good luck.
  21. If you're looking for a "ghetto shine", Turtle Wax F21 super protectant works great. I'm constantly in the trails. Trees and shrubs get the best of my plastics and wet sanding the plastics would be a waste of time. Plus, when you use the ghetto shine, dirt and mud that gets on the plastics wash off easier. It's a lime green bottle that's used primarily for interiors of cars. I love it. Good luck.
  22. For the price, you can't beat Pro Circuits. Good all around pipe.
  23. I'd say Turf Tamers for the street and hard pack and Raz'r II's for everything else.
  24. I'd say you definately need bigger carbs with the stroker. You'll need alot more air to go into those larger cylinders and stock ain't cuttin it. Standard bolt-ons on a standard motor will max out your carbs. With stock carbs, you'll have killer torque but diddly for top end. What is your intake setup? Airbox, lid off, no box?
  25. I go to either A.C. Performance in West Deptford or Service Specialties in Glassboro, N.J.
