Tires, gear ratio, launch technique, and terrain are all important factors to drag racing. You should be able to take that 450 with your mods. Granted, I have alot more done, but I have done well with less. When all I had was Pipes, silencer, reeds, and ITP rear tires (20-11-9), dropping the bomb in second gear would have me running away from most of the competition on loose dirt or quarry sand. Now with the setup I have now, the 15/41 gearing and the killer grip of the Raz'r II's, bombing first and hitting second not even 2 seconds later seems to get the job done. Good luck.
