  1. do a search, the keihin jet specs have been covered about 8 billion times on here.
  2. What compression, squish gap, and how far advanced on the timing?
  3. Word! 2x
  4. Get new o-rings and make sure the distance around the flanges between the header and the cylinder is even. There also needs to be a very small gap so that they are all the way on the flange. You need to adjust main first, then needle, then pilot circuit. One thing at a time and work your way towards the idle from the main jet. Thats too many turns out on the air screw. Get the motor warm and adjust the screws while running. As you adjust them out, the idle should go up, you then go in until you get the best idle. That will be your optimum setting.
  5. Good looking numbers for a hill bike and drag motor. Not enough torque backup for my taste, but after all I am a low-mid guy myself. Congrats on the nice numbers.
  6. Its low draw and a high output light, so to some its worth it, others its not.
  7. Its running rich.
  8. Yeah its not easy. You got to start somewhere though, and that book has a wealth of knowledge. It doesn't tell you what to do on a banshee engine. It will tell you what effects what, and how to calculate what to do though. It will also give duration tables and explain how a 2 stroke pipe works.
  9. You cant tell anything about a port job from pictures. You need to know port area dimensions, durations, heights, and widths to do a port job. I read that book, and it was awesome. I would consider reading it entirely a must before even cutting a mark in your cylinders. Alot of the information will not apply to this motor, but you will get an idea of how doing things in a two stroke effects the power it makes.
  10. yes, it made exhaust fumes. USe the search.
  11. I have been told they do run off the stock stator. I get them from my friend who owns Vision x offroad lighting.
  12. Eventually I will put them on it. They are as bright as the sun, its a flood beam. I had to use my light money to get a new ipod yesterday. My old 30gb flew off the scooter at about 25mph, it doesn't work anymore.
  13. The smallest xmitter bars (3") when shined across the warehouse in the dark seem to be really bright. I would think two of those ought to do the trick. I have not ran one on ac, but Nick the owner said it would work, as all my underglow is led and used to run off ac also. PM me for pricing. If you want something killer. I would run probably some led and some hid.
  14. Halogen lights are a thing of the past. Leds and hids are the future the big thing in offroad lighting now. You need about a 1/4 less lights to do the same as a halogen, and it draws less than a halogen would also.
  15. I would a leak down test if you think you have that many leaks.
  16. I have a set of brand new race logic templates I never used. I will sell them to you. PM me.
  17. Here is the dc conversion thread I found by using the SEARCH function. Click this This is the xmitter led bars. Best bet on price is to buy them through me. They also make like a 3" or 4" size thats not listed on the site yet. Vision X I believe I give the battery size somewhere in the dc conversion thread.
  18. Still wondering about the coil thing?
  19. Crazy aholes website link!
  20. try a dek or an eek, or an eej. take the main to 190-195, and pilot to a 45 to start.
  21. You can use the stock stator to do a dc conversion, how well it works depends on how big of a battery you put in. I would run hid's or offroad led bars like the vision x xmitter bars. Running high watt halogens will take a ton of power. Hids and leds are low draw and high output.
  22. Would you want the shifter stuck in your ass?
