  1. chris.. maybe send a pm to bbcmudtruck.. i think he was looking for some paddles to run for the HQ ride.
  2. You can't run the cylinders without the sleeves.. They have to be there.. no way around it. what methyman said. You can nik the steel sleeves.
  3. OK.. need a head count again on who's planning on going.. need to go back through and refigure arrangements to make sure we can get the right trailers and tow vehicles to accomadate as many as possible. Chris, what kind of trailer is it thats 32ft? would it work well for quads and if so can you get ahold of that too? as of right now.. we got 8 people I got 4 Jt and Jr. Chris Roger (RunDMC) pick up in indy if possible anyone else?
  4. helical gears pull the crank to the PTO side with the higher HP machines.. not needed in most apps.. Like J said. they're has been rumors of a few HP gained.. I doubt that anyone has actually compared helical to straight on a dyno for a true side by side.
  5. I think were up to 8ish. I'm gonna do more recruiting labor day weekend. Right about now I'm really wishin I hadn't sold my 24ft cargo trailer....
  6. you didn't delete the quotes in the reply. So I couldn't reply.
  7. alot more info is needed on the setup to give you a ball park figure
  8. I've used both also.. I agree with Dave.. I think the Slingshot does have the better holding potential. Both equally adjustable. Here the only negative I got with the "stealth slingshot". You can't fit it through a modded cover. I hated having to drain the coolant and trans oil everytime I needed to get to teh clutch pack. But all in all.. I think there about the same. Pick your flavor.
  9. I used to buy 55gal of sunoco fuel.. It came in steel drums and would last well over a year. Make sure the Drum is sealed and off the floor. The 5 gal pails are sometimes hard to get sealed.
  10. can you get a pic of the sides of the finger?
  11. I dunno.. depends on what you drive and what you take to eat.. lol we're stayin 4 nites.. so @ $30 a nite.. thats 120. Thats all i was really getting at. My truck is full. I got some room on the trailer though so I think I'm gonna take a few bikes for the guys thats riding down with chris. Chris. I can get you a #2 fork. its prolly gonna be about 25 bucks + shipping to you. Check with your local dealer.. or.. you can get ahold of cubshee.. I've heard he's got buckets full of good forks. maybe he'd sell ya one at a good price.

  13. Andy.. Should we post who the builders are? It'd give people an idea of whats gonna be out there and by who.
  14. He might consider trades for a 98'+ CDI for this cover. Sorry Boo, I figured I'd open up the offers a bit.. lol
  15. There is a few guys looking to join up to make this trip. Feel free to post if your looking for rides or want someone to make the ride with ya. Thats what I made this thread for. Trying to get as many people down there as cheaply as possible.
  16. I agree, In the dunes.. my motor dont look as big.. lol It takes alot more to handle these big bikes in the dunes. I'm still a lil gun shy right now since i'm not used to the chassis and motor combo yet. I wish I had my freak 4mil back. I regret sellin that motor everday.
  17. Nope.. We might have a stoke stroke cheetah and a 4mil cub going too! so yours isn't the smallest.. LOL Someone had better quote that one!! lmao
  18. there is going to be alot of drag bikes.. Its the fall HQ ride.. Alot of builders are going to be there as well for the "battle of the builders" races. Should be alot of dune bikes too.
