  1. Good info Todd.
  2. Play with the air screw.. It'll tell ya where to go on the pilot.
  3. yah.. ur definately rich.. I'd start by leaning back the pilot. you'll probably end up going to a leaner needle.. then fating back up on the main... But.. start with the pilot.
  4. see if one of the site sponsors can do better.. if not let me know and I'll see what i can do.
  5. A lil more info on your setup would help give us a better idea on whats going on.. Is this a stock cylinder 421? 58 pilot sounds pretty fat.. It could be loading up wich could be why your had to lean back the mains to get it to clean out.. I'd drop the pilots back to a 50 or 48 and start there.
  6. No shit Matt.. I didn't know you did shocks.. I got a set of TCS tripple rates with resi's I want to redo.
  7. where was this 3 weeks ago.. Bump for a good price on a bad ass throttle.. Hands down the best piece I've used.. Better then the moose/terrycable throttles that I've used in the past. The adjustable reach is sweet! works awesome on the bigger carbs.
  8. more porting is also required on the supercubs.. you cant just run them as cast.. they'll actually make less power.
  9. With the bigger carbs.. the lack of intake velocity doesn't allow the incoming air to pick up a good fuel charge.. therefore creating a lean condition in lower RPMs. The smaller carbs keep velocity higher at lower RPMS.. wich lets them pick up the fuel charge better.
  10. no mistake about it.. them are trip ports. Transfers are the biggest problem with the 68mm bore on stockers.. Thats the first time i've seen the vito's cylinders.. Definately alot of work needed in those things.
  11. Id mount it directly to the swingarm and remove the linkage.
  12. I dont care for PVL's in drag motors either.
  13. Its lean. Could be a number of different things. What jetting did you start with?
  14. Then your shaw is too soft.. I figured it was a dune bike.. thats why I said the chassis isn't setup right for 300' You'd be better off running struts.
  15. I'm looking for a good flywheel. let me know what you got and what you want for it.
  16. yah.. chassis setup looks to be off for 300' track racing.. What shocks are you using? probably gonna need more tire too.
  17. I'm plannin on it.
  18. we got a group of guys heading to the dunes on the 19th if your lookin for some grudge racing. The flats are the best they've been in yrs!
  19. Get a good sealed chain.. unless all you ride is sand.. I like the EK SRX X-ring chains that FAST sells.. for a non sealed chain I use the RK MXZ3 gold chain.
  20. The clutch actuator arm will not always align with the cases.. This is due to different thickness steels and fibers from different manufacturers.. You can use the arrows as a reference.. but.. don't consider it a rule.
  21. What carbs and whats your mains, dumps and pilots. what motor? Whats the plugs look like.. is the motor building heat? is it throwing a shower of fuel out the pipes??
  22. This seems to be a problme on the 2 out 1... I've always ran 1 out each so the weight is on 2 mounts rather then one. I've never had a problem.. even mounting my pipes directly to the pegs.
  23. I dont think that mount will work for him.. He's using OOF pipes.
  24. So much to do.. and so little time to do it.. FML!

  25. I agree.. a quick change spark arrestor would make things nice! I really like the way the new toomey sparkies are.. just a snap ring.. done..
