  1. Had a great time! Couldn't ask for a better day. Think we'll have to plan another off-holiday weekend. Lots of fast drag bikes made for some good racing. I had alot of fun on the play bikes! I'm sore as all hell from the dune riding! Been awhile since I did that much duning lol. Did most of the race crowd eventually move over to the flats or did they stay on the beach strip? Would have been more fun if we all could have gotten in at the same campground to stay at.. Made it hell jumping around between 3 campgrounds at nite looking for the party! lol Hideaway campground is a freaking joke.. I havn't ever stayed there.. and after this weekend.. I never will!
  2. the chrome job that Duncan does on these pipes are amazing! best chrome job I've had.
  3. well.. if anyone is staying at or passing through jellystone.. I'm on sites 11 and 12. Stop by and have a beer and BS.
  4. we might all have to plan a get together at the hearth sat nite. wheelmanslim... You dont have to worry much about me or Boo. Our bikes rarely get rode. they're usually have some "issues" keeping them on the truck.. we should all drag our trail bikes! lol
  5. Hell... I'll buy you guys a round anyways! lol But.. If I make 10 passes and manage to beat you atleast once.... I'll have to think of something good... Cuz it'll be very unlikely that I can.. even once!! lol But.. I need a kick lever if anyone has one I can barrow.. Turns out the one I bought off ebay is junk.
  6. my cousin is in Inverness. He moved there about 3yrs ago and can't find any places or people to ride with.
  7. PT's have the smoothest power delivery I've felt.. even on a drag ported motor. They might be holding back peak HP. (not everyone is looking for peak HP). but its going to have stronger mid and smoother curve. I'd think with a PV motor it would make for a very smooth curve. After its setup properly with the correct domes.. I'd like to see that dyno with the RPM rather then MPH. Keep us posted Nick.
  8. so am i the only one staying at jellystone? lol
  9. no story really.. just started out with a really low #... started making some changes.. gained about 35hp from the time I started. Squish should be anywhere from .040-.050 typically.. Timing varys due to the dome design. but usually 7 is a good start. Becarefull with jetting on a dyno.. its not real world jetting..
  10. I think the pipes are holding back the motor.. but... not to 65hp.. That motor should be pulling atleast 80hp with those pipes all day long... Something isn't right.. Whats squish? whats compression? was the motor leak tested? Like metioned before.. PV's working properly? I've seen 421 on gas make 80hp with t-5's.. Something isn't right.. though the pipes will hold it back a bit.. not to that extent. I'd like to see the graph too before I jump on the "ditch the pipes" wagon.
  11. what engine? what carbs? whats current jetting? whats plug gap? Has it been leak tested?
  12. Wow.. that went quick. That was a good deal
  13. Just wanted to thank Brandon for his great service. I was in need of some parts, rather small parts at that.. and he treated it like I was spending $100's. I would definatley suggest you give him a call if your hunting for some parts. Thanks again Brandon. Shayne,
  14. that is very sweet! Nice work Jerry.
  15. Sweet deal Jerry, Any chance of a DM head ?
  16. who ever knocks his opponet out first.. lol
  17. Whats the topic title? When people do a search to compare a cheetah to a super cub.. they'll find your post's about meet rather then relevant information to what they were searching for.
  18. Perhaps you guys should make a new thread for your get together.
  19. Ahh.. Florida street racing.. its all so clear now...... C'mon beast..Surely you remember how things operate down there.. They dont tell what size the motor is. They build the biggest motor possible while making it look the smallest. After thinking about why someone would want something like this.. I started to think about the Miami guys.. Which is why I asked where he was from.. I'm done with this thread..
  20. Many of the top builders in the country are saying the same thing also. Its not new information. http://bansheehq.com...1entry1083791 Why build a 4mil DM? Its cheaper to build then a 14mil super and makes just as much power. Also.. The super cubs have less transfer area then a standard cub. Where are you from?
  21. Show me a billet 14mil crank for 1100. 10mil forged cranks are about 650. Crankworks are in the same ball park as Twister. http://67.199.65.66/...ORE_DEPT_ID=279 The intakes are the problem.. not the carbs. How do you properly feed a 14mil 72 bore? build a cheetah and use CR250 intakes. I would build a 4mil DM before I'd do a 14mil super.. Save alot of money and have more power.
  22. damian said he's got a cabin.. i guess we know where the party is after we get shut down at jellystone! LOL
  23. Me and boo are staying at jellystone... and get this... Boo's bike might make the trip! lol ohh.. and ride it! lol
  24. lol I wouldn't ever put that thing on any one of my bikes.. Even if I got past the goofy look.. I'd be scared of the function. After looking where the shock tab is in relation to the pivot tube and carrier.. Seems like that thing wouldn't sit anywhere near right.. I'll stick with the site sponsors for my fab work...
