  10. Banshee with just bolt ons will run low 5's with a avg size rider.
  11. the banshee chassis just isn't tall enough to fit the engine.. You'll have to cut the top rails for the motor to fit.. also.. when doing a street bike swap you'll loose 20-30% of the bike engines rated power by putting it into a quad.. There was a big write up about it on another site. If you dig around over on planet sand you'll find it. You'll find that you'll get beat my much smaller bikes in a drag race. Ask loco, he's done the swap. I'm not saying not to do it.. just giving you some idea on what to expect.
  12. I wouldn't always say cheap pistons are junk.. I've seen just as many failures from wiseco's as I have cheaper pistons.. Working in a dealership service dept you see ALOT of older bikes come through that use all sorts of different parts.. From what I've see.. If there is a piston failure.. its usually do to improper setup of the bore or they failed to change the piston when it was due. I've used a brand called "art" for years.. its a cast piston. and they hold up very well. ($125 a set)

  15. Selling this for my brother. Its a modded stock cover.. Wont work with a sling shot. needs some grinding on the inside ring then it would work fine. Waterpump assembly is installed. Would look really nice stripped and polished. If you'd like more pics please ask.. I just took a quick one with my phone since I didn't have much time. I can post up some better quality pics in a bit. $150 shipped
  16. One key part that is being left out is the dome design.... It plays a huge roll on where the sweet spot will be for setup.

  19. I use 20x10x10's on my duner and love it.. I use the taller 22x11x8's on my drag builds.. I like the haulers better then the v-blades..
  20. Actually.. the cast pistons are effected less by heat and expand less.. hence the tighter tolerances for cast pistons. Forged pistons require a looser spec to accomadate for the expansion.. you put a forged piston in a bore setup for cast pistons and you'll get cold seizing.
  21. best thing to do is Take off all the shocks then get 2 jacks.. put one under the front.. and one under the rear... adjust the jacks so the bike sits the way you want it.. Then measure the distance on the mounts. This way you know what distance you want for the stance your looking for..
  22. Is there a chance the subframe is tweaked? The pipes will fit different from left and right. They're designed that way. I've had 3 or 4 sets of PT's and they all fit fine..
  23. Your looking for a pingel guzzler. 5/16 should flow enough for your build. What size carbs you gonna run? 50 lectrons? I think they use a 5/16 inlet dont they?
