That wasn't a smart ass comment.. It was a question. Since tyler first post clearly stated "LS" If you never heard of little sahara thats not my fault. I'm not from that part of the country either. Hell.. your closer then I am! Anyone that rides dunes.. Knows about Little sahara.. I'll stick to my statement "no way in hell i'd run 16 extremes in the dunes" as I was refering to my dunes. as I stated in my first post.. I've never been to LS so I dont know how the sand is. I've seen videos and it looks very similar to our dunes here. Face it.. you thought you were better then me cause you thought I had a 421.. So you made your smart ass comment about me not having anywhere near the power and you got called out it. You dont know what your talking about and only have 5 months worth of experience with a bigger motor to base your opinions on. I've been through numerous tire combo's on my 14 with everything from 72ro 14 extremes to 84ro 16 stg rippers. On the tracks and dunes. I base my opinions off my experience not by what people tell me or what I think would work. and back to your .03 gain from the tire swap.. I still dont think you need more tire. I bet with a gear change you could have gained .03 when people say big gains under 4 sec.. they're talking .1's and there is a whole lot more that I'm not going into detail about. .03 could have been anything from track coindtions changing to the sun playing hell on your tire pressure. Hell.. you might have ran down the track slightly straigter then the previous pass. Point is.. a .03 gain thats not conistant.. dont mean anything. If you wouldn't have said "what do you know".. we wouldn't be here right now.. Could have just said " I didn't know what LS was.." Like I said previously.. dont read into things more then they are. It is what it is. Now we can get back to the thread.. even though I think tyler got the information he wanted early on. I'm good for one good showdown a year.. I think I just spent it on this one.

I'm pretty sure tyler's haulers are 72ish for ro. I think he told me his motor was on gas. I told him we'd have a slew of tires to choose from. I'll have my 14 and 16 stg extrmes 25" on 9x11's. What ever I'm not using he's more then welcome to run.

I was referencing your thread and the fact that you "narrowed it down" to 16/18 stg extremes or 14/15 rippers for a 611 with no bar.. lol and if you only gained .03 by changing tires.. then you probably dont need more tire. Did you not read his OP? No way in hell I'd run 16 stg extremes in the dunes.. 14 stg in that ro maybe... even that is alot of tire for the power and would probably have trouble keeping the front down on the launch. 12 stg or 14 straight in a 76-78ro would prolly be pretty ideal.

I knew he had alot of motors down there.. I just figured there'd be more from here. I might have a big motor.. but I'm hardly fast on it in the dunes.. lol I'm sure I'll get beat by 4 and 10mil cubs. Honestly... I was faster on my 4mil in the dunes then I am with this big motor.

yep.. my 4mil with a +12 arm and 13 extremes would come up on me pretty bad if I left too hard.

You can resleeve with ported cylinders. The sleeves will have to be port matched.

hmm.. lol thats a tuff one.. if it were me.. I'd run the 14 arm and get more tire.. You got plenty of motor.. so if your spinnin the 14's pretty bad.. just throw more gear at it. I'm runnin the big 80+ro 14 stg extrems on 9x11 for our dunes which are kinda wet. At the track I use the 80+ro 16 stg extrems on 9x11. I've never been to LS yet.. So I dont know what the sand is like there compared to here. I'm sure between all of us down there we'll have paddles you can barrow and see what works. But, my vote is for +14 on the swinger.

Well.. here's the worst case.. JT lets me use his 18ft open trailer.. and I should be able to fit 2 bikes on my truck.. and 6 on the trailer sideways.. might have to pull some pipes and stuff.. but.. should be able to fit them. If Jt's buddy will let him use his trailer.. we should be able to cram 6-8 play bikes in there.. (have to stand them on their grab bars though.) so.. we'll have to take 2 vehicles.. but.. it might have to work. Does anyone else have access to a big trailer??
