  1. All of the main jets? $50 shipped I have pilot jets too. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=153717
  2. Right on! Hey, did you buy those bad ass air brushed plastics?
  3. Nice, thanks for the address verification. If you have any issues at all, let me know. Just so you know, I never ran these, I bought them from John, (NYUK), he is a great guy and a veteran BHQ memeber. Thanks again!
  4. The following pic with the pink background is the Billet Intake that FAST sells. The Billet Intake I'm selling has the Internal Cross-Over and also Genuine Mikuni Boots for 34-36mm Carbs. It appears the previous owner removed the "cross-hairs" and tried to port the outlet. I'm not going to lie, they could use some more blending. I can do it, but it'll run the price up to $100 shipped. $85 shipped as is. Buyer pays PayPal fees. I'll get another pic of the outlet up in a couple hours.
  5. They are 6" pods and they fit 35's.
  6. I have the following Keihin Main Jets: 2x #160 used <-- $6 shipped 2x #162 2x #168 2x #172 2x #175 2x #178 I can do $10 shipped on the new ones. Buyer pays 3% paypal fees.
  7. I have the following Keihin Pilot Jets: 2x #40 2x #42 2x #45 2x #50 2x #52 4x #55 I can do $10 shipped per pair. Or $55 shipped for all of them. Buyer pays paypal fees.
  8. I'm going to have to ask $60 shipped for these pods and outerwears. They are very excellent shape and appear to still have K&N's original oiling. Buyer pays PayPal fees. Will ship same day after receiving payment.
  9. Just got off the phone with Kevin. He said the stockers are hard to beat with the MX Hardcore Port. He's seen the exact set-up put down 65whp all day long on 91 octane and +4* on the plate and stock ignition. He said the 35's might get a pony or two up top but the trade off would be a lazy bottom-end. Ultimately he said try out the 35's and let him know... If the 35mm set-up doesn't sell, then I'll try them out some day. Honestly I'd rather sell them and put the money towards the motor build.
  10. He said for my weight and Dune Riding he felt that the 35's might produce a bottom-end that would feel lazy. He didn't really comment on the mid-range or top end.
  11. Yeah, I agree, Kevin does know best, that's why I'm asking you guys for your advice. For a starting point, Kevin suggested the stock carbs w/340 mains, 27.5 pilots and the OE needles on the middle clip at Sea Level. I was thinking about having the stock carbs modified by RB Designs http://www.rb-designs.com/banshee-carb.htm and selling off the 35mm stuff. I wished Keihin made 31mm PWK's. If the 35's are too big, then their for sale along with the matching billet intake and pods w/outerwears. There's also 6 pairs of pilot jets and 6 pairs of main jets and a braided sst throttle cable. $425 USPS Priority Flat Rate Shipping to the lower 48 with tracking and insurance. Buyer pays paypal fees or sends money as "Gift". Here's a pic of the set-up.
  12. I ride 80% Dunes and 20% trails. Sea Level at Pismo up to 4500ft at Sand Mountain, NV. I'm 5-10, 280 and ride pretty aggressive. I run 20x10x10 Sand Skate II's that bought back in 1995 when low profile paddle tires were the shit... I'm also running stock gearing. I have T5's on the bike now with stock carbs, stock intakes, stock reed cages and reeds, pods w/outerwears and stock porting. I talked with Kevin at HJR and he suggested a Hardcore MX Port for my type of riding and weight. The cases will be port matched and the crankshaft will be trued and welded. HJR Noss Machine Cool Head with a set of domes for both sea level and 4500ft. Kevin suggested running the stock carbs w/pods and outerwears, stock intakes, stock cages w/Boysen Dual Stage Reeds, the T5's and +4 on the plate running pump 91 octane. Kevin suggested against running the other stuff that I acquired over the years which are: 35mm Keihin PWK Air Strykers K&N Pods w/Outerwears Billet Intake w/Internal Cross-Over VF3's Kevin said that the 35mm set-up might have a lazy bottom-end for my size and type of riding. My question to you guys is, "Will this HJR Hardcore MX Ported motor run better on the stock set-up or the 35mm set-up? Keep in mind these are Air Strykers, so I'm not sure if they respond better than typical 35mm PWK's. If the 35's are too big for my set-up then everything except the VF3's are for sale. Let me know what you guys think.
  13. Here, I fixed that huge run on sentence for you. And yes, a pair of 33mm pwk's would be best.
  14. I sure hope to get a trip to Dumont this year.
  15. Yeah, I've only ridden Pismo and Sand Mountain. I have yet to experience Dumont or Glamis. I like to ride the Dunes.
  16. Thanks for the tip to CPW. I'll give them a shout for the Needles.
  17. I'm looking to buy pilots and main jets for my stock carbs. I'm getting a HJR Hardcore MX Port and I'm running T5's, RB Designs bored stock carbs, Pods w/Outerwears, stock intakes and ported cages w/2 stage Boysen's. I need to be able jet for riding at both Sea Level and 4,500ft. So I need quite a few jets sizes. Kevin suggested 27.5 pilots and 340 mains for the above set-up at Sea Level. PJ Motorsports main jets are $6.95ea. Jets R Us are $5.89/main jet. RMATV sells 4/042 Series Mikuni Main Jets at $2.24ea. Anyone have any input on the Pro X line of jets? Kevin also told me to find the OE Mikuni Needles for the stock carbs instead of the Toomey Needles. Banshee OE Jet Needles are 5N7 on the middle clip. I can not find a vendor for OE Needles.
  18. Yeah man, there are other big dunes all around the mountain. It's huge, there is some where around 4500 acres to ride. Believe me, you will not be disappointed!

    bowels

I think he sharted in his pants... hence the need for new bowels.
  20. No wonder you have a hard time tuning, try reading what you wrote. Did you assemble the motor, or did FAST put the whole damn thing together? Are you absolutely sure your pipes are sealed and are you absolutely sure you do not have any air leaks between the cylinders and your carbs? What jetting did Jeff recommend for your set-up at your altitude and your type of fuel? Dune Port 350's run 35 PWK's all day long...
  21. I just realized this, it's damn near the same mileage and drive time from my door step to either riding area. Not sure where you're located, I'm in Stockton. According to Google Maps, from my door to the Kiosk at Pismo it is 269mi and takes 4hrs 40mins. I-5 S to 41 S to 46 W to 101 S to 1 S to Pier Ave and you're the beach. I'll be in Pismo April 27th thru the 29th. Then from my door to the turn off of Hwy 50 it is 263mi and takes 4hrs 39mins. I-5 N to I-80 E to Fernley exit 48. Turn right onto SR 343, stay left and enter the traffic circle. Take the third exit onto Hwy 50 Alt E/E Main St and then continue onto Hwy 50 E. Destination is on the left. Should be about 52 miles after exiting I-80. Here's the address for the turn off hwy 50. 22360 Austin Highway, Nevada I'll be at Sand Mountain May 30th thru the 3rd.
  22. I do ride Pismo. Been going there since I was 7. Haven't ridden this Banshee there yet, but by the looks of it I'll be going the last weekend in April with an HJR motor. So, I'm done with this thread. Thanks for the tips though...
  23. To "themechanic", so do you work for Vito's? If so, do you have 65mm Wiseco made and modified Forged Superstock Pistons in stock?
