  2. By turning the airscrews out, you're leaning out the mixture. If it got worse, then try turning them in. If you are less than 1 turn out from fully seated, you need to go up a size on the pilot jets. But you're already on a 30 pilot, so I doubt that's necessary. Did you just assemble this motor? Did you do a leakdown test?
  3. My buddies ktm450xc would stumble horribly if you jabbed the throttle off idle. It turned out to be a failed accelerator pump diaphragm.

  6. I bet you have an airleak causing you to run lean. Leakdown test the motor before you grenade it. BTW, FMF's call for 30 pilots. Your needle clip position and main jet is perfect.
  7. Your throttle should snap off idle. Then try turning your airscrews out until the throttle snaps off idle.

  9. Agreed!!IMO, round silencers w/out turndowns would look way better. Although I may be able to look past the ugliness if they do perform as advertised.

  11. Build a leakdown tester you lazy bastard. You said it yourself you had leaks and you had to redo everything. Why the fuck would you spend hella scratch on a badass motor and not be sure it's puss. The builder should have got his jetting real close. If not, then there is someone on this site that can get him close. Who puts the needle clip on full rich to break in a motor? Who babies their motor during break-in? Start it, let it idle for about 15 seconds, then roll out slowly thru the gears and engine brake back thru the gears. Then again, with a little more throttle while she's warming up. Then ride it like you stole it up thru the gears and engine brake thru the gears. Park it, let it cool and retorque the head and cylinders after it's fully cool.

  21. Yep, the graphs are pretty impressive. I'd like to see a little more RPM out of them. I still need to port my motor and run the T5's before I plunk down for new pipes.

  24. I am not a fan of turn down silencer tips. But if the poower is there, I'd make an acception. Are they USDF approved?
