  1. Its' about 2.82 here(southeastern NY). it was 2.45 this time last week. should be at least 3 bucks by Friday. they keep their crap up w/ the prices and I'm gonna either build a still and run "shine" or I'm just plain ride on of the quads to work legal or not.
  2. I used to play a bit a long time ago til I smashed my left hand pretty bad( dislocated most of my fingers and thumb in just about every joint and severely sprained my wrist). just never picked it back up.
  3. thats cool. my friend Mke is one of the riders in the Paragon park segment too.
  4. email me a pic(pics) and I'll post um for ya.

  6. All I got was an "unable to connect" message.
  7. have ya checked your oil level first to see if it is motor oil?? ya sure they don't just need a re-pack?? how long have the scilencers been on it?? the packing might be so saturated that your just blowing out the wet stuff that has collected when you romp on the throttle. I'd check that first. I've seen some nasty packing in the past.
  8. Check Rocky Mountain. they have gasket sets and seal kits. you should be able to full kits through a local dealer to.
  9. NO no no!!! ya don't wanna do that. in the bars , fine. in the frame, NO. Great Stuff(the spray foam) is an open cell type of foam(kinda like a sponge) and if the water gets into it, it stays trapped in it which will actually cause rot and rust faster by keeping moisture in. I know someone who used it to sound-deaden a car and it got wet over the winter(salty water) and it ate the whole car up from the inside out.
  10. sounds like a "telephone-tough guy" and a wanna be know-it-all to me, espeaially since he cries "slander" which doesn't apply in this case even if loco did talk smack about him. Since slander refers to spoken word, not written. slander: noun a false spoken statement about someone which damages their reputation, or the making of such a statement: the cat sounds like a hypersensitive to me.
  11. he's got to pull the whole clutch side cover off to get to it. the clip, gear and pin are on the inside of that cover.
  12. take your shifter off, then pull the whole mechanism straight out from the star. the whole mechanism and rod should slide right out.(might need to wiggle it a bit)
  13. new to me. never heard of it but hears what I found on it. http://www.mullengineering.com/ "Kwik Shift" Kit The Kwik Shift kit makes hard shifting and missed shifts a thing of the past. By interrupting the ignition pulse for a split second, our kit allows faster and more accurate shifting without letting off the throttle or pulling the clutch! After all, when the clutch is in, you are not making time. Our kits are custom engineered for your application and require only minimal wiring experience. Also includes a bypass switch for normal operation. We also designed this low profile kit to
  14. sounds like another prick with a big mouth and too much money to me.( and thats from and R owner.)
  15. stock R hubs use a 25 spline. just went and double checked on the new hubs I got.
  16. I did a whole write up on that kinda stuff for another board. heres a link to them. FAQ: How do I tell what size my bolt pattern is? FAQ: How do I tell the offset & size of my wheels? when you figure out the size, let me know. I got a whole listing of what size rims fit what bike.
  17. yeah forgot about Bluetraxx, it's in the "Tech Tips" http://bluetraxx.com/
  18. I'm putting one in probibly sometime this week along w/ a few other things(shift-pro, shift star, EZ drain cover, and a few other things). so I can do a "how to" on it.
  19. I usually use a shop vac running to suck up the chips as I'm cutting and tapping. it always seem to get like 90-95% of the stuff so clean up was minimal.
  20. never had it happen my self, but fixed enough of them. I;d take it back to see if they can get it covered under warrenty. who knows, it could have gotten boogered up at the factory. but most likely they will say,"Oops, should have let us do it for you" or " We can fix for you" and nail you for a bundle to tap and install a larger bolt or put in a heli-coil. if it don't work out at the stealership try this: http://www.atvconnection.com/editor/techtips/techtip21.htm done it a couple of times for other people and (knock on wood) them seem to be holding up.
  21. never ordered anything from these guys myself, but I know a few people who have and they say them got a few good deals in the past. http://www.recreationtires.com/ http://nebraskatire.com/ and these guys sell factory blems. I'm not too keen on them cause their stuff is stored outside in the weather. I'd be more worried about dry rot. but hey if they have so good deals. http://home.cfl.rr.com/tyres4less/
  22. -l- -l- -l- -l- ya mean like these
  23. Sorry to heard about your loss bro. there's definitely a special place in hell for people like that. There shouldn't even be a trial, he should automatically be sent to the front of the line.
  24. yeah, Nyuk should have a field day w/ this.
  25. from looking at the list of part that thing sounds BAD ASS. Then you look real good at the pix and go "What a piece of crap!" Has anyone else looked at the pix?? you think they would have cleaned the damn thing up a bit before they tried to sell it. look at the frame and motor!!! would you pay 12K for that?? I can think of ALOT of better things to spend that kinda scratch on and use them to beef up BOTH of mine.
