  1. I have the same issue as another here on the forum... bought new throttle cable but it does not have any cable adjusters on them. Did I buy the wrong ones for my carb or do I need to order cable adjuster seperatly, or do I have to tap them myself? Hoping to get this thing going before the 4th weekend! Thanks, Jason
  2. Missing those as well. What Are those called exactly so I can order some? And how do they stay on the cable? Is it like some kind of compression fitting? Thanks, Jason
  3. Thanks, It seems like the manual says something like .028. Since I mostly ride trails I am always fouling plugs. I try to keep her wound up as much as I can but sometimes they get me anyway. And since I am not running er hard I run my mix at 50:1 synthetic & that helps some. Thanks again sheefreak, Jason
  4. Hey Guys, I'am at my inlaws & I don't have my manual & I don't remember off the top of my head what the plug gap is. Can ya all give me a shout out what range I can set them at. Thanks, Jason
  5. I have figured out the bolt pattern... 4 lugs@110mm appart. They are ITP C series, size is 27X7. Can anyone tell me what quads these will fit on?
  6. I think reverse on a Shee is: 1. Drop down to first gear. 2. Crank the handlebars hard left or right. 3. Pin the throttle.
  7. Does Auto Zone's & Advanced Auto carry this stuff? Maybe cycle shops? Or do ya have to get it online? Oh by the way I'm a ex Iowian. I know you might find it hard to believe but I miss it sometimes. The people down here in TN. can be soo red & stupid. lol.
  8. Sorry I have not gotten back here until today... I will try and take some pics tonight as well as give you the #'s that are on the inside.
  9. When I used to rebuild regular car motors it did'nt matter where the gaps were as long as you staggered them from ring to ring. If you don't you will get blow by & your compression will be lower.
  10. Thanks man...I'll check this out.
  11. My father in law gave me a couple of ITP rims. They were thrown in when he purchased a Kaw Bayou used. They definatly do not fit my shee but I don't think they fit the Kaw either. These things are brand new & I would like to try and sell them but I need to try & figure out what they go to. They have some #'s on the inside but I think that they just tell ya the size. Does anybody have an idea of how I can find this info out? Thanks in advance for any info.
  12. I searched around on e-bay and found some good fronts for my shee but f@ck it almost cost as much to have them mounted as the tires cost. A lot of places around herre did'nt even want to mess with them & the cheapest I found was $20 per tire. I have seen this mounting tool that you can buy on e-bay for about $50 has anybody used this? Does it work well?
  13. Could be a bad caliper making your brakes stick on the side that it is pulling.
  14. All mods were done by the previous owner so I don't know what main & pilot jet size I am currently running. I have been putting off tearing too far into the carbs due to my lack of experiance with them. I have adjusted clip position for the weather change and done a little work to better sync the slides but thats as far as I have been. The plugs usually appear black & occasually foul which means too rich right? But after adjusting the needle clip & slides it runs pretty hard in fact I sometimes get the feeling that I am pushing close to the lean threshold cause I will get a few drops of coolant out the overflow. I don't know I guess I need to bite the bullet and get into the carbs and find out what size they are and the jet sizes. Anyway here is a list of the mods & I am at around 1,700ft abouve sea level. -Keihin carbs -V force reed cages w/vforce reeds -2 to 1 intake w/foam filter and Filter skins washable filter cover -pro design intake manifold -pro design cool head w/domes -Toomey T5 pipes and silencers -High flow impeller -Hinson clutch basket -Barnett race clutch
