  1. I think I'll stick to my $22 an hour and continue to do jack for most of my 8 hour shift. then milk the OT at time and a half and still not do jack..
  2. Here ya go Rabid. well ain't that a bitch.
  3. and this is why you don't stick a burning toohpick in a microwave.(not that don't think to myself everyday, "Hmm, I wonder what will happen if I put a burning toothpick in my microwave??") http://abydosgooglevids.blogspot.com/2006/...-microwave.html

I beleive the stock ones are a hard plastic, but on the case of the ones made by UPP, they use polyurethane which is "stronger, tougher, and more durable than products made with conventional elastomers and plastic. " ( there's a whole description of it here - http://www.uppracing.com/index.php?cid=109). I put Upp roller, chain slide, and rub block on my R 2 years ago and they show little wear and have held up great. but it's all up to you.

yea, almost everyone I've seen that was for sale that was used, was either one foot in the grave or D.O.A. you just better off w/ a new one, that way it'll last and won't fall apart on ya the first it gets smacked by anything.

  7. I got a few things floating around but most are junk(hence removal) or were ATC parts a previous owner jerry-rigged. I might even have a rear brake caliper yet. I been getting stuff together for eBay. I'll let u know what I got.
  8. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...9&hl=yfz+shocks alway try the search feature first. it'll save ya the bashing later.
  9. I've dealt w/ Cascade many times over the years and I can honestly say, that they have always been top notch.
  10. send it to me and I'll put it up [email protected]
  11. looks like an '86 maybe '87(can't quite tell from the one pic.), where's it at?? I'd buy it myself. but then again I live for that kinda stuff. if you grab and change your mind, I'd buy it from ya. for a 1000 buck I'd grab it, but thats me I always love the R's. I paid 2,600 for mine and and dumped another 3k into it after I how much of a POS it was. now it looks like this '88 in '87 trim, got different front end, full set of Olins and a few other things since the pic was taken.
  12. we give the Gov't enough money, make them get off their ass to earn it. Sick the Better Business Bureau on him, tell them he's got your parts and money, won't return your calls and that he's planning on moving to another country like at the end of the month. they'll light a fire under his ass, cause you prob. won't be the only one complaining. especially if word gets around to others in the same boat as you, you can bet they will get a stack of similar complaints.
  13. that's wrong. going from 42:1 to 35:1 is richening the mix not leaning it. you would be going from 42 parts gas to 1 part oil and making it richer by going to 35 parts of gas to 1 part oil. essentually your using the same amount of oil and mixing it ww/ Less gas. if you want to got leaner then you need to use Less oil to make it like 50:1( 50 parts gas to 1 part oil.) wish isn't a good Idea unless your bike is tuned perfectly to run like that, otherwise your gonna nuke your motor. remember Higher the #-Leaner the mix, lower the #- richer the mix and the ratio is always gas to oil.
  14. Jeez, Look at us. we're gettin' the poor guy all worked and thinking his wife is an obssesive/possesive psycho hose beast. Hell, I say just show up w/ the bike and if she pitches a fit, do like my father does now when my mother throws one of her tantrums. wave, point at the door and say, " there's the door, don't let it hit ya in the ass on the way out."
  15. East Fishkill/Wappingers Falls, NY "Upstate" about an hour north of the city(but then again anything outside the city is considered "upstate")
  16. dude thats a BAD SIGN, imo. That's looking like an over-dependant personality disorder. a friend dated a girl a couple of times that had something like that. it was a BAD 2 years for him.
  17. sure couldn't hurt any. Main Entry: ban
  18. My little contibution to the holiday. since I have gotten it from 4 people today alone I figured I would share it.( that way others may join me in the madness it inspires after the first couple of times ) http://www.ugoto.com/flash/rappingeasterbunny.html
  19. pretty much anything w/ big beefy knobs like all-traks or cleats like sur-trak and bear claws should work well since they scoop at it like paddles do w/ sand.
  20. I been running a pair of 22" Super Swamper on the '01. got stuck very little(only when the nitt-witt in front of me would stop short and kill my momentum). usually I could keep up which the 4x4's pretty good as long as they didn't go in the super deep and long places. see my track and trail vid to see what I was running threw(avoided most of them in it)
  21. I'm dying to find out what is wrong with the thing. Good money says it's gonna be the stupidest and most simple thing wrong with it. like a pinhole in the fuel line to one of the carbs.
  22. I should order one eventually myself, since the one I do have is for street bikes and I got 2 and I know a few other people who have or are getting one.
  23. wire schematic shows for: the key switch a red w/ black stripe(to CDI) and a black(ground) the bar switch a black w/ white stripe(to CDI) and a black(ground) the coil an orange(back to CDI), one black(ground) and 2 plug wire(that ground on the head) that's why I always put the splice just before the coil every other time I installed one. so it would isolate the coil and ground the system before the power got to it. electricity, like water, follows the path of least resistance. that's why I kinda questioned the clip over connector they used causing the switch not to work. Cause the contact surface is so small between both wires running though it, i figured that the connector was actually blocking the flow of power to the kill switch.
