No the cable for the tors wont work with the new caps. You need to get the proper cable. The removal kit should have come with one. Just order a new cable for the carb's now.

Yes man, the wrist pins in the freezer for a good while, like 2 hours or so. And they will go in both ways from both sides. I had to do this on my sled years ago, shit worked.

Why and how are you freezing the rod? Just stick both wrist pins in the freezer man

HAHA no, go the other way though, stick them in the freezer for over night and then lube them up and the hole and they should pop right in. Mine whet it pretty snug too, but they went in.

Lube it up well with the oil you use. Are both sides of both pistons going you fuss?

I run Amsoil Interceptor for a few years now at 50:1 Just like it says on the bottle. Works great, not a problem ever.

Sounds like your lean man. First take the carb bowls off and see what mains and pilots are in there. Then jet according to your mods temp and elevation. Who knows what jets are in the carbs you just bought, you NEED to take the time and look. Second do a leak down test to see if your motor is sucking air some place. Simple, easy, and effective way to find out if your motor is 100% sealed up properly. You don't want to melt a new rebuild down over a few dollars in jets and 15 minutes of your time

My lower 450 arms are PC'd. Not one problem. Its all in how its done. If you used a proper heat lamp to cure them they will be fine, in an oven your asking for it.
