  1. Ive always used Bel Ray Gear Saver 80w, never had any trouble, love it and probably wont change.
  2. The LTR Quadracer is actually the slowest of them all in a straight line. Less power and heavier than the others, but great for the track. Terrible in the woods. The 450R is a great bike for the woods, but not so hot on the track. Keep in mind this is all in stock form. The Honda is super durable like they always are, but old in technology. The KFX I have heard doesn't handle quite as tight as the others, even the more narrow TRX, but the YFZ is a great mix of it all. Even with all the new quads out, it still wins all the competitions. And lets face it you can do a million things to them. They are already rockin fast and they handle amazing and kick ass in the woods and the track. The KTM is a bad ass quad too, but so crazy expensive. Get one of the other 450's and add what you want to it and you will still have less into it than what you pay for a KTM. I would pick the YFZ over all the others. Its B-A
  3. Welcome aboard bud. Good to have ya. Good luck on getting a Shee.
  4. I have an older Raptor and its a very very good one, its fast as hell, jumps and handles with the best of them out there but unless you know exactly how to set them up, they can really blow. I agree, I hate people who ride Raptors and think they are tough shit. The new 700 is quite a bit better off the showroom floor than the old one, but as a "good guy" raptor rider, I can tell you my next quad will be a new YFZ. I will never get rid of the old beast or the shee of course, but YFZ vs. 700. Definitely get the YFZ. My opinion.
  5. That is exactly what I thought. Thanks guys. I'm so excited......
  6. So a while back, me and a buddy were riding and we were out in the rain on some wet pavement drifting around and spinning tires and all that good stuff, when the clutch on the shee went out. The only thing is, is that it didn't go out like it normally would. When you squeeze the clutch nothing happens. The cable is still attached and the lever down by the shaft is still operating and there is a slight resistance when you pull the lever, almost like a broke all but one spring or something, but the clutch doesn't work. It still drives just fine and I rode it home and just jammed gears, which isn't good, but it got me home. I know I need to tear into it, which I will, but I just wanted to see if anyone knew what it was off the top of their head before I go spending money on it.
  7. Thanks man. Good call. I think I will just go with stock height. Ive always done just fine with the regular height. Changing things now would probably send me end over end into a ravine.
  8. The steering stem on my Raptor is twisted  and i'm gonna just go ahead and throw a tag stem in with the tag bar system and all that. Why? I don't know. Bored I guess. But what I do wanna know is if anyone knows about adding a +1 stem to the Raptor if its better or not. I dont know if I should stick with stock height or go to +1. Just wanted to see if anyone had some opinions.

    Seat

I just need a seat for a shee in decent shape. Color does not matter and doesn't have to be perfect just together and not torn up by a dog.... LOL
  10. I'm trying to find just some rear standard 9 in Yamaha rims for cheap. They dont have to be in great shape or look good. Just lookin to find some to play with. Thanks
  11. What kind of tire would you recommend for my Rubicon. I ride alot of trails and a decent amount of rock. I dont go "mudding," but I do occasionally get into it, you know how it goes. I don't really wanna sacrifice any power so I'm going to stick with 25" tires. Basically I guess I'm looking for a good tough cross country tire. What do you think? Thanks guys.

  13. I'm looking for a set of headlights for a shee. Doesn't matter what housing or style for that matter as long as they are decent. I would even take some fancy ones, just wondering if anyone has any sitting around. Thanks
  14. Ok, I just shredded my front sprocket the other day on a quick trip down the road, so I thought while I was at it I would get a Tag sprocket and chain set. Now I have a ton of mods and plenty of power, and its always felt pretty good, cause I do alot of trail riding, but my buddy thinks I should drop a tooth or two in the rear. I don't want to completely go up one in the front, so thats why I was thinking like down 2 in the back. I just feel like I top each gear out just a little to quickly. But I don't want to sacrifice to much bottom because I know Raptors have long first and second gears. What do you guys think? Any experience out there or suggestions?
  15. Well thats kinda what I've been planning on doing. I was just wondering if anyone made some sort of bracket for that before I started doing my own shitty fab work. LOL
  16. I have an 01' Honda Rubicon. I was out riding it one day, and to make a long story short, the battery box part of the plastic broke and the batter fell through the bottom. I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any mods or any alternative ways to getting the battery remounted on the machine without having to buy a whole new rear fender piece. Thanks guys. p.s. I already tried doing some plastic welding and it just broke again after a little riding.
  17. Lastlegwarrior and I ride there quite a bit. St. Joe State Park has their own forum somewhere. But I don't remember what the website is. It isn't a real good one, but search around and the vid might be there.
  18. Oh no way. I'm talking about picking between the 300EX and 250R.
  19. I talked to him the other day and he helped me answer some questions no problem. Maybe he misunderstood the phone number or something.
  20. 250R all the way! I've been trying to get my hands on one of those for years. Gotta love a legend.
  21. Yeah, they have changed a lot though. They fired a bunch of people. It kinda sucks trying to buy there in person, cause like I said the service blows. But the Ebay thing is easy. If nothing else talk to the manager, Derrick, he is cool as hell.
  22. Hey, I worked there too. Lastlegwarrior and I were there at the same time. It was fun. While we were there things were kinda shitty. The service has gotten a lot better since then. They went through a lot of legal crap and had to straighten up. If you go there you have to watch for probably 300 in hidden costs, but on their Ebay thing, the price you see is what you get. Its legit. Procycle seriously sells quads cheaper than an place I know of. We used to sell stuff for like 2-3 grand below retail. Crazy shit. They have a direct deal from Yamaha, Honda, and Suzuki. They are not based on the money they make off of each machine. They get their money based on how many they sell. So those companies allow them to sell each machine at dealer price. You should be dealing with a guy named Chris. He is the Ebay guy. If he says anything, tell him that Tommy (thats me) said the price you see is what you pay. I remember. And he wont care, cause he gets commision for everything he sells on Ebay. Good Luck man. If you have anymore questions hit me up.
  23. Hilarious! I love those guys. Knoxville is the man, out of f*n control.
  24. "Oh come on Tommy you know you like it, or are you just worried it will out run your raptor!!" Hey! Come on! You know it cant outrun MY Raptor. Maybe Brock's Banshee, but not my Raptor. BURN! And even if it could, I would make Doug Short build me a 9000hp Raptor. And I bet he could do it using only his mustache and 3 fingers. For everyone else. I did some photoshop work and it actually looks really good when you take the headlights off. So I retract my statement. Still no YFZ though.
  25. Lastlegwarrior and I ride there. I love that place, its a blast. Last time we went there, I burned my clutch up and put in a new one at the campsite. There is a place in Park Hills called Doug's Cycle I believe. They are amazing. They had a GYT-R clutch in stock and everything else we needed. They are great guys. Good prices too. We ride at Finger Lakes once in a while too, its only like 10 minutes from where we live, but St. Joe is better. Then of course there is Deepwater at Clinton, MO. Its ok. About like Finger Lakes.
