  1. Definately a sharp machine. Haven't gotten to ride one yet , but I think they look kickass. I still think my next 4-stroke is going to be a YFZ or 450R though. BTW the Polaris Outlaw makes me sad. What a pile those things are. Hey our quads aren't heavy enough yet, lets add some rear suspension and body roll into our already ugly predator and see if we can't break the 1000 lbs. mark.
  2. Ok, so I'm tight on money and I'm trying to decide what to do about reeds. I'm getting ready to get my parts back and I'm wondering how the stock reeds will hold up to the port job. Cause I know they are meant for stock application and I'm afraid they are just going to break with the port job. Can I get away with it, or should I try and find the cash for some V-Forces?
  3. Ok. Question. Which campsite should we pick. Cause we were a little slow on deciding if we could actually go and all of the electric sites are takin. So whats the next best thing? Cause we gotta party to!
  4. Thanx man, that gives me a good place to start, I can figure it out from there.
  5. YEAH! Right on man. I saw them not to long ago in K.C. They had an amazing show.
  6. Ok, so now that I have moved this into the Jetting Forum after looking like a dumbass. OOOOOO Raptor jetting question... Please don't hate me. Ok so I'm wondering if you guys can give me an idea of where I need to start with my jetting. Here's what I've got. 03' Raptor 686 stage 2 hotcam 11.1 FMF Powerbomb header and Powercore 4 muffler K&N with outwear and no airbox lid 0-3000 ft approximately 50 degrees air temp, but its a 4-poke so not a big deal Thanks guys
  7. *Damn! Sorry, I meant to put this in the Jetting Forum and I guess I lost track of where I was. So I moved it over to Jetting. I'll run away now
  8. I'm pretty sure, I'm just going to ride around and jump stuff untill I get really hurt.
  9. Yeah I can see that. Like I said, the conditions weren't really the best for testing anyway. And yes the suspension and chassis are great no doubt about it. The whole thing I was getting at, is that its not 10 times better than the YFZ and 450R like everyone was predicting. Its still just right on par with them, which is cool, cause I would like to see all of the 450's close together and allow tuning and mods to set them apart.
  10. I was working at Procycle last summer which is on Rangeline. I rode the Shee down the street and over to the warehouse in the middle of the day. I just new I was going to get arrested, but I didn't thank God. But oh what a rush! BTW: Procycle in Columbia sucks balls. As an empolyee and as a customer.
  11. No way! The Banshee will never die! 2 strokes kick ass!
  12. OH YEAH!!! The Ginsu Banshee 315!!! EPA Friendly!!! That would be the day that all quad riders march on California. I guarantee it.
  13. 2 of my friends are going down there from March 3-5. The kid with the new Quadracer and a guy with a hideous looking Z400. I'm not goin this time though, I'm saving my money for the big Little Sahara ride Mar. 23-26.
  14. And it might. I'm very open in this subject. It was a sweet ride and like I said without having the YFZ and 450R on hand under the same conditions on the same trails its kinda hard to make a real accurate decision on which one is best. I just know its gonna be awesome having Suzuki in the game also. Now if Kawasaki will bring back the Tecate in a 450 form, it will be like 1987 again only with 4 strokes this time.
  15. Well a buddy of mine bought the new Quadracer and I got to put in about 4 hours of seat time on it today. So based on my opinions I thought you guys might want to know how it stacks up. Ok, first off, it starts up pretty easy, but you have to warm it completely up, cause it is a cold natured mother. It sets almost exactly like a YFZ. (Feels generally the same). You have to give it a pretty good rev to get it goin, because it seems like it has virtually no bottom end. Its lacking some serious torque. It revs very fast and its a pretty quick bike. It pulls pretty hard all of the way through the power band clear to the top, much like the YFZ. However, I didn't get to compare the 3 side by side, but I've ridden them all and it doesn't feel quite as fast as the YFZ or the 06' 450R. But its probably close. (Now this is stock for stock, don't forget). The handling at high speeds is fantastic. The A-arms and front suspension is superb. The rear shock is a little on the stiff side but feels ok. It jumps beautifully and is very predictable. It goes into turns hard, but is a little funny coming out. It tries to quit steering while hard on the gas, but I think tires could fix this. The brakes are also first rate. Now for slow speed trails. Forget it. Without gassing it, you couldn't turn this thing around in a parking lot. It sucks at narrow tight trails. Not only does it have like a 300 foot turning radius, but that lack of torque makes it that much more difficult to get the wheels spinning. And unless you have the powerband of a Shee, your probably gonna hit something before you go where you want too. So therefore, I don't think its going to be much of a cross country trail quad. Overall it seems to be on par with the YFZ and 450R. Which is good because I like the competition to be close, but I'm going to have to say that I personally think it comes in 3rd. Not by much, but I still like the Yamaha and Honda better.
  16. St. Joe State Park is 7 miles North of Farmington, MO, which is about a half an hour south of St. Louis. That sound about right to everyone? Thats where we usually ride. Lastlegwarrior and I are from Columbia, MO. Right in the middle of the state on I-70. We ride at Fingerlakes and Potawotomie sometimes. (All in the area). And we are 7 and a half hours from Little Sahara, but thats not stoppin us.
  17. I'll do it. I like the idea of the duct tape HQ member thing. A group photo would be a pretty sweet post. Can't wait you guys, its killin me to just set here and watch Huevos over and over again.
  18. Well virgin isn't a dirty word, but you know what is? "Asshole" and thats what you are. Yeah.
  19. When a woman wears leather clothing, A man's heart beats quicker, His throat gets dry, He goes weak in the knees, And begins to think irrationally. Ever wonder why? Because she smells like a new truck!!!
  20. Hey, I gotta fever and the only cure, is more sand. Or cowbell either one.
  21. I'll take Lastlegwarrior's bet. I might have to drag you with a Polaris Magnum 325. YEAH!!! I will outrun you all on that beast. I mean lets face it. How many quads do you have to wind the belt up before you can pull a wheely?
  22. Good luck brother on the MRI! Hope it all goes well.
  23. Lastlegwarrior and I just went to FAST Toys today and ordered all of our parts. It was a good time. Met some fellow HQers and his place is definately pretty cool. After talking to Jeff (owner), I'm super confident that our stuff is gonna rock! Can't wait for this trip. Its killin me.
  24. LOL! Yeah, I have to apologize for writing that one, but it just came to mind and I was like, man, if people are bored they might like this. So how about another one. 2 cannibals are setting around eating a clown. One turns to the other and says does this taste funny to you? ....................
  25. 2 guys walk into a bar, the third one ducks. Ohh man. Thats a good one. Ok, I apologize.
